General information

Solo Retreat 2 is a cozy and compact chalet for 2 people. In the sitting area you can relax on the sofa and have a view over your own terrace. Next to the sitting area is the dining table and in the kitchenette you can cook on an induction hob and use the fridge, kettle or filter coffee maker. The chalet has 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and an extra room with cupboards for storage space. The rooms are open, so without a door. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. Furthermore, there is an electric heater in the chalet. On your own veranda you can enjoy the water surrounding you. You can park 1 car at the Solo Retreat and there is free wifi.

In the extra room there is space for a child's bed/cot, which can be added during the booking process.

    Mixed feelings... Upon arrival at the 10 person cottage it turned out there was no bath in it even though it was listed on the site. Called the reception after which was first told that it should have been mentioned when booking, then they said it was not on the site and then the story was that the cottages all had no bath.... The next morning the bath had disappeared from the website... no excuse or concession.... The cottage has enough showers and toilets. Unfortunately 1 shower not usable. Also many dirty rubbers in the shower. Rooms are cramped. 15 cm beside the bed to get into the shower. Living room is absolutely not suitable for 10 people. If you all want to watch movie, half have to go outside in the garden.... Sauna is wonderful. Kitchen is well equipped, enough cutlery and crockery. Enough pans etc. Nice spacious fridge and freezer. Beautiful surroundings, nicely landscaped park. Nice waters, thought of privacy. Beautiful hiking area next to the park. Nice animal pasture with cute curious goat. Miniature golf course was gone. Nothing can be reserved at the reception, it all has to be done through the site. You then have to pick it up again at ... the reception. Escaperoom game was a lot of fun!

    Gemixte gevoelens… Bij aankomst in het 10 persoonshuisje bleek er geen bad in te zitten, terwijl dit wel vermeld stond op de site. Gebeld met de receptie waarna er eerst verteld werd dat het bij de reservering vermeld had moeten worden, daarna zeiden ze dat het niet op de site stond en daarna was het verhaal dat de huisjes allemaal geen bad hadden… De volgende ochtend was het bad verdwenen van de website… geen excuus of tegemoetkoming… Het huisje heeft genoeg douches en wc’s. Helaas 1 douche niet bruikbaar. Ook veel vieze rubbers in de douche. Kamers zijn krap. 15 cm naast het bed om de douche in te kunnen. Woonkamertje is absoluut niet geschikt voor 10 personen. Als je allemaal film wilt kijken, moet de helft buiten in de tuin gaan staan… Sauna is heerlijk. Keuken is goed ingericht, genoeg bestek en servies. Genoeg pannen etc. Mooie ruime koelkast en vriezer. Mooie omgeving, mooi aangelegd park. Leuke watertjes, gedacht aan privacy. Prachtig wandelgebied naast het park. Leuke dierenweide met geinige nieuwsgierige geit. De midgetgolf baan was verdwenen. Bij de receptie kan niets gereserveerd worden, dat moet allemaal via de site. Je moet het dan wel weer ophalen bij… de receptie. Escaperoomspel was erg leuk!

    We have stayed here 1 week but the first night we went home for a top deck because the bed was really hard, the faucet broke every time and the light in the toilet you could not do because then gave the suction a very bad noise, there are also rats under the chalet because especially at night you could hear them gnawing really not fine but at the reception is then said that they are mice but little is done about it, For the rest we have had a nice week but unfortunately for us no longer this park.

    Wij hebben hier 1 week verbleven maar naar de eerste nacht weer even naar huis gegaan voor een top dek want het bed was echt keihard, De kraan ging elke keer kapot en het licht in de wc kon je niet aan doen want dan gaf de afzuiging een heel erg lawaai, Ook zitten er ratten onder de chalet want vooral in de nacht hoorde je ze helemaal knagen echt niet fijn maar bij de receptie word dan gezegd dat het muizen zijn maar er word weinig aan gedaan, Veder hebben we wel een fijne week gehad alleen voor ons helaas niet meer dit park.

    Very nice resort, very quiet and clean. I stayed here several times with my mother and we were always very satisfied. You can make great day trips from here. I'll be back soon.
