From Glamping De Witte Berg you drive in 10 minutes to the parking lot of the nature reserve and make the most beautiful walks through 365 hectares of hills, meadows and hay fields. A beautiful stretch of green, where there are always new beautiful things to see! Walk along soothing streams, admire the historic farms and enjoy the tranquility of "the garden of the Netherlands. In addition to the various hiking trails, you can also find several bicycle routes in the nature reserve, so grab your own bike if necessary or rent one at the glamping site. Motorized traffic is not allowed into the park, making it extra peaceful here.

Camping De Witte Berg is located next to arty Ootmarsum. A visit to this cute little town should not be missed when staying at this glamping site in Twente. After 8 minutes of cycling you are in the center, where you can stroll through narrow streets full of galleries and boutiques. Not far across the border in Germany is Nordhorn. Drive 20 minutes to our eastern neighbor and be welcomed by cozy shopping streets. Rent a boat and discover the city from the water! A bit to the south you'll find Oldenzaal. Located a 20-minute drive away, this is another fun option for a day trip to a city. The atmospheric city center is bursting with restaurants, stores and beautiful buildings.

Cycling and hiking are, of course, things we like to do in nature. But how fun is it to go into the region in a unique way? How about an old-timer tractor, with which you will discover the beautiful Twente countryside? If you are with 8 people, book a trip to the campsite! There are also vehicles for hire through Twente Toer, such as colorful TukTuk's or baby carriages that you can use to get into the mud.

Out and about with the children

Are you on vacation with the family? A 10-minute drive away is Speeltuin Morskieft, where there are playgrounds for children and tracks for a game of 'Glow in the dark' miniature golf. Or find your way through corn maze Fleringen together. After a 15-minute drive, you're already among the corn. Fancy some adrenaline? Enter the roller coaster at Avonturenpark Hellendoorn or Slagharen, which you can drive to in just under an hour.

    Echt een geweldige vakantie gehad! Heerlijke plek! Onze kinderen hebben genoten van Teun, Jet en Bram, wat een enthousiast animatieteam! (De animatie is tóp voor kinderen tot ik denk 10 jaar..) Zwembad is fijn, dikke prima! Het zwemmeer hebben we niet geprobeerd i.v.m het weer :-) Het sanitair word prima bij gehouden en netjes en gezellig aangekleed. Een echte aanrader! De wifi is in het hoogseizoen wel knudde, verder zijn wij alleen maar positief! Binnnenspeeltuin, restaurant, kunnen nergens iets 'negatiefs' over verzinnen. Prachtige omgeving ook, en voor de boodschap is Ootmarsum vlakbij. 10 Top

    Netjes verzorgde camping! Het personeel op de camping is gemoedelijk, Ootmarsum en de omgeving is prachtig. De camping wordt met veel liefde onderhouden en dat zie je terug. Het sanitairgebouw zag er mooi en netjes uit en werd regelmatig schoongemaakt. Het restaurant vonden wij een zeer groot plus punt: de speeltuin is in zicht, het heerlijke eten/drinken en mooie aanplanting. Het zwembad kan door het dak zowel bij slecht als mooi weer gebruikt worden. Niet heel groot zwembad, maar tja wat ben je verder nodig. De camping was voor ons perfect met kleine kinderen en wij komen zeker nog eens terug! Chapeau voor deze camping! (Kamers kunnen wij niet beoordelen, we hadden onze eigen caravan).

    De vakantie was heel erg leuk. We hebben genoten op de camping. Hier wat voor en nadelen die wij hebben ervaren. Voordelen: Heerlijke rustige camping Ruime plaatsen Veel speeltuinen Enorm kindvriendelijk Goede ligging/veel te doen in de omgeving Schoon sanitair Het personeel bij de receptie was enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam Nadelen Wij stonden onder een eikenboom. Constant vallende eikels op het dak. Dat hadden we graag geweten en was vervelend. Wij stonden op plaats 15. Recht voor een wandel doorgang dus er was altijd doorloop. Dat was niet altijd wenselijk of fijn. De stroom na 5kw is erg duur. 69 cent p/kw is onnodig duur. De spanning viel vaak uit. Een waterkoker en verlichting aan was al teveel. De snackbar is van slechte kwaliteit. Slappe patat, en onervaren personeel. Veel jonge mensen/vakantiekrachten als werknemers op de camping. Uiteraard moeten zij ook leren en bijverdienen. Maar ze waren vaak niet competent of vriendelijk. Vaak een GenZ ervaring. Het personeel bij de receptie was enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het zwembad is klein en enorm gehorig. Net een echokamer.
