River Lodge 'Wellnesshuus' - 2 persons

Unfortunately, my stay at this campground was anything but positive and certainly not what you would expect. From the beginning, the poor condition of the plumbing was striking. Toilets and showers were often dirty and inadequately maintained, which is really unacceptable for a campground. Other common areas were also not clean and made an unkempt impression. In addition, there is a big problem with noise pollution. There is absolutely no consideration for other guests and there seems to be no control over noise, especially at night. Therefore, finding peace and quiet here is almost impossible. The general organization of the campground is weak. The arrangement of pitches is unclear and creates a lack of privacy. Moreover, the campground seems to be regularly overcrowded, with no facilities to accommodate it. Service also left much to be desired. The staff was not very helpful and came across as uninterested. Questions or problems were not taken seriously, which made the experience even more frustrating. The maintenance of the grounds is also clearly inadequate. In several places you can see overdue maintenance and outdated facilities, giving the whole place a poorly cared-for appearance. All in all, the value for money is way below par. For what you pay, you should really expect much more. I would therefore not recommend this campsite.

Beautiful campsite for families with children, great fishing opportunities on the river or pond also for cycling Very beautifully situated and there is a lot on offer for children.

We are here with a caravan. A very nice place in the countryside 👌with nice people. -The WC that can be booked is perfectly ok, but not as nice as shown on the internet. -The place is very sloping, but the size is good and nice. -The swimming pool is good enough for the kids, they have fun. The very comfortable lounger bags in the swimming pool were a negative point, as some were really moldy in the lower area ... The water toys in the form of animals: one worked a bit, the second was defective (a pity). -Bread rolls and cappuccino in the morning as well as the rather small portions of fries are quite expensive !!! Conclusion: All in all a great campsite, visually appealing, currently pleasantly quiet, very nice staff and a place to relax and have fun for the kids.

Enjoyed! From: - the beautiful river cabin with hot tub overlooking nature and the water - the quality of the food. For a 'vacation park' really above average good! - small but cozy catering - The friendliness of the staff - the indoor play area and many outdoor playgrounds for our son of 4 - a fine but quiet location - the daily fresh bread rolls - plenty of fun outings nearby: many children's playgrounds and petting zoos, Rijssen, Deventer, adventure forest and so on. The indoor pool did not amount to much compared to other (larger) parks but this is made up for by the private hot tub :-) Overall had a wonderful stay. We were just before the 'season' and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Because of this, the range of activities and entertainment was a bit more limited but was not a miss for us.

Worth a trip. There's plenty on offer and the surroundings are beautiful. Perfect for families with small children and even the older ones found something to do. Unfortunately, the kitchen was a little short of dishes and the outdoor area around our hot tub wasn't cleaned very well, but that didn't detract from the overall experience. Everyone is very friendly and it was very quiet despite the dense development. Many things were included which was very surprising.

A super place for a family with kids. Indoor pool, playgrounds, indoor play space, bowling alley, restaurant and a bar. Fun for the whole family. We will be coming back!
