"Terrace lodge with sauna and whirlpool - 2 pers. Entire accommodation: Bungalow" Booked via Airbnb. Unfortunately, the communication via Airbnb was very poor in advance. We really enjoyed our stay overall, even if there were a few minor criticisms. The accommodation is very secluded in the middle of the fields - perfect for anyone looking for peace and privacy. It is really pleasantly quiet, only occasionally you can hear a slight noise from the highway. There is only one restaurant in the immediate vicinity, which is about a 15-minute walk away. For everything else (supermarket, activities etc.) you have to rely on a car or bike - the nearest supermarket is in Enter. The complex offers modern houses for rent as well as pitches for caravans. Our house was very modern, well-equipped and completely clad in wood on the inside, which immediately created a cozy atmosphere. The many windows made it nice and bright and the heating worked perfectly. The kitchen was well equipped and had all the important utensils. The many sockets, the Wi-Fi and the washing machine (although without detergent) are also positive features. There was also a clothes horse and a hairdryer. You can easily park your car near the accommodation. A big plus point is the privacy - you can lock everything (windows and doors). Check-in also went smoothly: If the registration desk is not manned, you simply call a number. However, a few points could be improved: - The beds were relatively narrow and put together, creating an annoying gap. - The shower is open and unfortunately quite dark as there is no light. - As the open shower is located in the sleeping area (with sauna) without a door and without a separate window, there is a very high level of humidity when showering. We had to open the window next to the bed every time afterwards in order to ventilate sufficiently. - Basic things like shower gel, shampoo, soap or washing-up liquid were missing. - Towels had to be paid for separately. - There was only one roll of toilet paper for the entire stay, which is quickly too little. About the sauna: It takes quite a long time to get up to temperature and the maximum temperature indicated was not reached during our stay. It is designed more for one person, with two people it gets cramped and you can only sit, not lie down. The small private "pool" is heated with wood - you can buy the wood from the landlord for €15. A simple screen made of logs provides some privacy. There are some facilities for children on the grounds, but some of them are a bit outdated. Conclusion: A very nice, quiet accommodation with lots of privacy and modern facilities. With a few small improvements to the basic facilities (e.g. soap, washing-up liquid, more toilet paper), the stay would be almost perfect.

Lots of peace and quiet, small park. Some overdue maintenance though. This is worrisome for the future. Unique place to recover though. Small center near Enter. Hospitable hosting.

Gastvrije hosting.
