This international symbol of "Peace through Justice" where it is an impressively beautiful building with a special history. Walk through the Binnenhof, the center of our politics, where you will find the famous Torentje of the prime minister. Both cities offer plenty of opportunities for a successful day out.

Within walking distance of the glamping in South Holland is the beach of 's-Gravenzande. A beautiful, quiet and wide beach that has been known for years as one of the cleanest beaches in the Netherlands. Vlugtenburg Beach in 's-Gravenzande is a very popular beach where there is a lot to do and experience, but you can also relax very well. Do you feel like getting active on the water? There are many activities such as blokarting, kite surfing, kayaking, rafting, supping or beach volleyball! On the beach, of course, you can cool off in the sea, relax with a drink in the sun or just take a nice walk. At the beach there are also plenty of places where you can grab a terrace, for a bite to eat or drink.

We, an older couple with a travel trailer, stayed at the campground in September 2026. The drive there was easy, and the signage was clear.
Our comfort site had water and electricity hookups right at the edge of the flat grassy area. Cars are parked in a lot inside the campground grounds. This kept the site quiet and free of traffic. We’d … never experienced this before and found it very pleasant. The restroom facilities were good and clean. The owner and staff spoke German and were helpful and cheerful. These days, Wi-Fi access is important, and everything worked perfectly here as well. The value for money was good.
We were able to go shopping in the nearby town of s’Gravenzande. We especially liked the access to the beach. A leisurely walk of about 1 km—passing a restaurant and crossing the dunes—led to a wide sandy beach with beach bars. Anyone who enjoys long walks on the beach or sunbathing will be in for a real treat.
I’d especially like to thank the manager for his help. We drove on the only toll road section in the Netherlands. The toll can only be paid online. Unfortunately, that didn’t work for me. The boss paid the toll from the business account to avoid late fees and a penalty.
We’ll definitely vacation at this campground again. We’ll watch the ships at Hoek van Holland, explore Rotterdam, enjoy the typical small towns, and just relax.this is a translation, click here for the original
Wir, ein älteres Ehepaar mit Caravan, waren im September 2026 auf dem Campingplatz. Die Anfahrt war problemlos und die Beschilderung hat gepasst.
Unser Komfortstellplatz hatte einen Wasser- und einen Stromanschluß direkt am Rand der ebenen Rasenfläche. Die Autos werden auf einem Parkplatz innerhalb des Geländes abgestellt. Dadurch Ruhe und kein Verkehr auf dem Platz. Das hatten wir noch nie so und haben es sehr positiv empfunden. Die Sanitäranlagen waren gut und sauber. Chef und Personal haben Deutsch gesprochen und waren hilfsbereit und gut gelaunt. Heutzutage ist eine Versorgung mit WLAN wichtig, auch hier hat alles funktioniert. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat gepasst.
Einkaufen konnte man im nahen Ort s'Gravenzande. Ganz besonders hat uns der Strandzugang gefallen. In einem gemütlichen Spaziergang, ca. 1 km hat man, an einem Restaurant vorbei, die Dünen durchquert und konnte einen breiten Sandstrand mit Beachbars genießen. Wer Lust an ausgedehnten Strandwanderungen oder Sonnenbaden hat, kommt voll auf seine Kosten.
Besonders möchte ich mich beim Chef für seine Hilfe bedanken. Wir sind auf dem einzigen mautpflichtigen Autobahnabschnitt der Niederlande gefahren. Die Mautzahlung kann nur Online entrichtet werden. Das hat bei mir leider nicht funktioniert. Der Chef hat die Maut vom Geschäftskonto bezahlt, um Mahngebühren und eine Strafe abzuwenden.
Wir werden bestimmt wieder auf dem Platz Urlaub machen. Schiffe gucken am Hoek van Holland, Rotterdam erkunden, typische kleine Städte genießen und einfach entspannen. -

A really nice campground right behind the dike. Well-maintained grounds, clean and spacious restrooms, showers, and sinks. Clean, bright, and welcoming—no musty corners. The staff is helpful and very friendly. A great starting point for a trip to The Hague… you can reach it in about an hour by bike along the dike on well-marked, scenic bike paths. … The beach is just a few minutes away. Unfortunately, we happened to be there during the last two days of this year’s season and had to leave the campground. Parts of it will be redesigned over the winter.

Ein wirklich schöner Campingplatz direkt hinterm Deich. Gepflegter Platz, saubere großzügige Toiletten, Duschen und Waschbecken. Sauber, hell, freundlich keine muffigen Ecken. Personal hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Guter Ausgangspunkt nach Den Haag....mit dem Rad am Deich entlang gut ausgeschildert auf schönen Radwegen ca. in einer Stunde zu erreichen. Strand in wenigen Minuten. Leider hatten wir die letzten 2 Tage der diesjährigen Saison erwischt und mussten den Platz dann verlassen. Dieser wird über den Winter in Teilen neu gestaltet.
Frühe Reservierung empfehlen wir zu Hauptreisezeit. Danke an ein tolles und engagiertes Team 🍀🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♂️ Ulrike und Gerhard aus Deutschland. -

A great, modern campground. Friendly staff and a beautiful tent field. Unfortunately, when the wind is blowing in the wrong direction, you can really smell the industrial plants in Hoek van Holland. But that’s not the campground’s fault.
