General information

At Vakantiepark Kijkduin 9 you stay in a fresh, modern chalet, just a short walk from the beach and dunes near The Hague. The park recently added several detached, ground-floor chalets, perfect if you’re looking for comfort, peace and plenty of space.

You can choose between different types of chalets. The 4-person Comfort chalet comes with two bedrooms and two modern bathrooms, both with a walk-in shower – ideal when you’re travelling with friends or family and want a bit of extra privacy. Prefer some wellness during your stay? Then the 4-person Wellness chalet is for you. It also has two cosy bedrooms and a bathroom with walk-in shower, plus an extra treat: your very own infrared sauna to warm up after a long beach walk.

Travelling with a slightly bigger group? The 6-person Comfort chalet offers three bedrooms, a bright bathroom with walk-in shower and, just like the others, a separate toilet. In every chalet you’ll find a comfortable living room with smart TV, so you can relax with a film in the evening. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment, making easy holiday meals a breeze. All beds are single beds, sometimes pushed together as doubles, so you can arrange the sleeping set-up how it suits you.

Outside, each chalet has its own terrace with garden furniture – the perfect spot for breakfast in the morning sun or a relaxed drink after a day at the coast. You can park your car close to your chalet, so you never have to carry luggage far.

This holiday park is completely firework-free during New Year’s Eve. Fireworks are prohibited and actively monitored, and the park lies in a municipality with a fireworks ban. That makes it an excellent choice if you’re travelling with pets or small children and want a calm, quiet environment without loud bangs. Dogs are welcome here, so your four-legged friend can join you on long walks along the beach.

Please note: between 22-06 and 26-06 the park may be harder to reach due to the NATO summit in the area, with busier roads and possible diversions. Always check the latest traffic information before you travel.

Park dated but cheap, surroundings versatile and beautiful! Barrel washer not good, previously or not washed dishes from other residents not getting clean. Heating goes to 15 degrees at odd times, brrr.

Park gedateerd maar goedkoop, omgeving veelzijdig en mooi!. Vvatwasser niet goed, al of niet eerder gewassen vaat van andere bewoners niet schoon te krijgen. Verwarming gaat op raarste momenten naar 15 graden, brrr.

Once but never again!!! It started well. We were with 2 cars. Only 1 was allowed in the park, but 2 license plates were given. Finding houses was already a thing in itself, it seemed like a puzzle tour. From the hundred to the six hundred and we had 491. The four hundreds came after the nine hundreds...really logical. But well finally found. At the very back of the park about 1.5 km walk from the entrance. And there was the other car ( small one) with an elderly dog. Who came walking, dog all broken down....And then with the car at the cottage for the stuff get from the other car. But okay we got to the cottage and it smelled horrible. I don't know what kind of cleaning product they use but it looked like they had cleaned with peach juice. We couldn't get the smell out despite windows open, a can of air freshener. The cottage itself was dated but okay. The oven was not to be trusted seemed like a crackling microwave so no baking sandwiches in the morning. Parking space at the cottages ample but where the other car was supposed to be ( outside the barrier) was not. It was not vacation time and actually very quiet in the park. We went to the reception to discuss whether the other car was also allowed in the park. Our dog could not because of his age in the other car (too high) that was also the reason we were with 2 autos But at the reception, not friendly and sticking to rules, not helpful. And even saying that is in the conditions. And that had to do with green law...really nonsense talk. Already our opposite neighbors were with 2 autos and a motorcycle. That was a 6 person cottage, and motorcycles had no license plate for we were told. We spent the weekend driving the car around the park tig times to drive the dog and persons to the front or to the cottage. Big change trucks....niks good for environmental policy so. All in all, everything was hugely disappointing....and I've really been to several roompot parks, with generally good experiences. But here they will never see us again

Eens maar nooit meer!! Het begon al goed. We waren met 2 autos. Mocht er maar 1 het park op, wel 2 kenteken door gegeven. Huisjes zoeken was al een ding op zich, het leek wel een puzzeltocht. Van de honderd tallen naar de zeshondertallen En wij hadden 491. De vierhondertallen kwamen na de negenhonderdtallen...echt logisch. Maar goed eindelijk gevonden. Helemaal achter op het park ongeveer 1,5 km lopen vanaf de ingang. En daar stond de andere auto ( kleine) met een hond op leeftijd. Die zijn komen lopen, hond helemaal kapot....En daarna met de auto bij het huisje voor de spullen halen uit de andere auto. Maar oke we kwamen in het huisje en het rook er verschrikkelijk. Ik weet niet wat voor schoonmaakmiddel ze gebruiken maar het leek wel of ze met perzikkensap hadden schoongemaakt. De geur hebben we ondanks ramen open, een bus luchtverfrisser er niet uit gekregen. Het huisje zelf was gedateerd maar oké. De oven was niet te vertrouwen leek wel een knetterende magnetron dus geen afbakbroodjes smorgens. Parkeerruimte bij de huisjes ruim voldoende, maar waar de andere auto moest staan ( buiten de slagboom) niet. Het was geen vakantie tijd en eigenlijk heel rustig op het park. Wij naar de receptie om daar te overleggen of de andere auto ook het park op mocht. Onze hond kon vanwege zijn leeftijd niet in de andere auto ( te hoog) dat was ook de reden dat we met 2 autos waren Maar bij de receptie, niet vriendelijk en zich aan regeltjes houden, niet meedenkend. En zelfs zeggend dat staat in de voorwaarden. En dat had met groenwet te maken...echt onzin praat. Al waren onze overburen met 2 autos en een motor. Dat was een 6 persoonshuisje, en motoren hadden geen kenteken voor kregen we te horen. We hebben het weekend tig keer met de auto over het park gereden om de hond en personen naar voren of naar het huisje te rijden. Grote wisseltrucken....niks goed voor het milieubeleid dus. Al met al, viel alles enorm tegen....en ik ben echt al op verschillende roompot parken geweest, met over het algemeen goede ervaringen. Maar hier zien ze ons nooit meer terug

The park is not really suitable for teenagers. The swimming pool is very small. The cottage was not really clean and definitely not cozy & cozy. In any case, we will not go here again.

Het park is niet echt geschikt voor tieners. Het zwembad is heel klein. Het huisje was niet echt schoon en zeker niet knus & gezellig. Wij gaan hier in ieder geval niet weer naar toe.
