A more than warm welcome, and also help with parking in heavy snowfall by the owner so the camper would stay on the paved parts. Super! Even in the heart of winter a sandwich service, and possibility of dinner delivered to your camper. This is winter camping with a very sunny edge! 😁👌

When I read the reviews like this and the owner's answers to them, I wonder if there is any point in writing! There is an answer to everything...! Still, I want to write it off my chest.... I google fireworks-free camping and camping De Grienduil is in the top 20! But nothing could be further from the truth.... We book pay almost 500 euros for 3 nights in the Pipowagen. Upon arrival I meet a rather grumpy owner, but well he will not have his day.... It is announced that the car cannot be parked near the gypsy wagon so stuff has to be carried from car to gypsy wagon. "We are fireworks-free on this property but what the neighbors do is not our responsibility. Oy, that's a bit of a scare...our dog is really very scared...! And we are here to avoid fireworks! Pipowagen is really very dirty, filthy...( I read this in previous reviews by the way) Pans, cups, cutlery, senseo, remote control, shower etc...everything too dirty to touch...we could not cook...so dirty! Anyway, we are from Limburg so going home was not an option at that moment! We decide to stay and make the best of it...after all we are here to avoid the fireworks!!! At 11 pm the popping starts...and not just any popping...carbit!!! My daughter and I decide to go to the neighbors where the fireworks came from.... A bunch of young people were operating with this. They responded understandingly and stopped the fireworks. "Ma'am, if you came here to avoid fireworks, this is not the right place...tomorrow it will go off here!!!" The next morning around 7 am, the banging started again. Our dog was so scared, trembling, panting and we can't get her out of the Pipo wagon! Besides, the neighbors bordered even closer to the Pipowagen than the first next caravan. We decide to go home...this is not doable! We seek redress with owners but they were totally unwilling for any compensation...60 euro cleaning fee we got. Their response was...we are innocent...you have booked through Europacampings and they put on their site that we are fireworks free..and we are, only we cannot prevent the neighbors from setting off fireworks. "But sir, you have a responsibility to you guests, don't you?" "And what is posted on the internet about your campsite?" Sir denied everything and took no responsibility. Very sorry that these people did not understand us and that at least a portion could not be reimbursed!!! To accommodate us even a little bit! Contacted inspector Mr. Tolenaars of Europacamping.... Unfortunately the same story... "then you must be with the campsite owner". We did, but he refers us to you " we have 1000 sites so I do not know what you are talking about". " In any case I will read you review and do another inspection next year".... " but where will I be heard in this now"? " where can I ask for compensation"? Nowhere....!!! A very sad experience....so annoying! And Mr. of Camping, please spare me your reaction.... After all, you are innocent...right!

Horrible campground! Booked because it was supposed to be fireworks free and our dog is terrified. Nothing could be further from the truth.... the bangs flew around your ears. In addition, the rented pipo wagon was too rancid for words! And then also everything! Mattresses damp, cutlery and pans too rancid to touch. Moldy shower, brown/black kit edges.... and so we can go on. Contacted the reception, unfortunately caught bone. Received 60 euro expenses! Ridiculous ... Finally left after 1 night instead of 3 nights. The stench, the unsanitary rooms, and then the fireworks from the area made it really untenable.

Afschuwelijke camping!
