We spent a week at this farmcamps location. A nice place where the children can brush the ponies in the morning, go for a walk and possibly ride them. Afterwards the indoor playground opens and that is really lovely, especially when the weather is not so good. You are assigned a table and if you are at the park then you can just pay this off completely at the end. Then it's just put on your bill. Should you possibly have the dog with you then you also have an area inside where you can sit. If the weather is better they can also enjoy the go-kart track, sandbox and the air cushion filled with water outside. They can also enjoy the beautiful garden outside and there are some playground equipment in the field where the tents are. The tents themselves are adequately equipped with a kitchen with inventory bench and a bunk bed and a 2 bed. There is also a toilet in the tent, very nice! The larger tents may also have a shower and an additional playhouse with 2 sleeping places. If you go here, it is recommended to bring your bicycles. Because the beach is within cycling distance as is the village of Kamperland. This is unfortunately just not walkable because you have to walk on fairly busy roads. Should you not feel like cooking yourself you can also order this from the indoor play area. From sandwiches to stew with fries. To end the day you can join the animals for feeding. From goats to chickens to a pig. The animals love it. In addition, you can complete your Farmcamp booklet with different tasks. So if you want a vacation where the kids can enjoy themselves with fun things to do in the area, this is definitely a must!

very nice stay, fun for the kids with the animals, the outdoor and indoor playground and the scavenger hunt. Also nice that it is close to the sea. cool tents, do bring extra blanket in winter/spring/autumn because at night it can be chilly. We will definitely come back.

Wij komen zeker terug.

Having previously visited another Farmcamp, we were looking for a fun Farmcamp to visit, but with plenty of indoor activities to do for should the weather be bad. Fortunately, there was this beautiful and fun indoor playground where we spent several hours while it was blowing vigorously outside and the rain was pouring down. However, we didn't expect that that was actually going to be the highlight. We had read some reviews before arriving and some of them were about the gruff nature of the hosts. We came here without judging people we do not know beforehand. However, the distant character we unfortunately have to confirm. We never really felt that we were welcome. If our oldest daughter with her enthusiasm asked something to the host, she got a very cool and short answer consisting of 1 word. Really very unfortunate. ||Our day began with brushing the ponies, which unfortunately only lasted about ten minutes, then they were allowed to be brought to the courtyard. The kids were allowed to do some tours with the ponies (on foot), how radiant they were! I immediately felt, "this is what we came for". Then they were allowed 1 ride on the back. One ride, definitely not two. Our daughter of barely 5 found that very unfortunate. There could be more interaction between pony and guests, as is made clear on the Farmcamps website. I even sent an email to Farmcamps a few weeks before our stay to ask if we should book the 1 on 1 rides in advance. According to Farmcamps, we would be fine and it was certainly not necessary, but unfortunately we did not get to experience that highlight. Throughout the day the host and hostess were mainly busy with their work in the indoor playground. The revenue model is mainly the indoor playground, with an accompanying eatery. Interaction with the animals was limited to about 45 minutes a day. So this was not what we expected. What the website says is not accurate. If you are looking for a stay with lots of interactions with the animals, this is not the location you are looking for. It seemed to us like they were trying to lure you into the indoor playground and food court as quickly as possible so that people start consuming. The outdoor play equipment is also located right next to the indoor playground and eatery. So these are very centrally located and there is nothing wrong with that in itself, but the website is misleading in our opinion. ||Our tent was definitely fine, there was even a nice playhouse, where the kids played for hours. When we asked for extra sheets because it was cold, the hostess brought it to us. Breakfast was also very tasty. We also did chips making as a paid activity. We enjoyed our family trip, but we could have just as easily taken the kids to the riding school where our oldest daughter goes horseback riding in the morning, then to a petting zoo and then home for dinner and a nap.
