Step into Water Village 2 in Kamperland and unwind in a peaceful, car-free setting where comfort and style come together. This detached, ground-floor bungalow is fully modern, yet wonderfully relaxed – perfect if you like things easy and hassle-free on holiday.

Inside, you’ll find a bright living area with a comfy seating nook, smart TV and cosy underfloor heating, so it feels just as good on cooler days. The open-plan kitchen is sleek and practical, with all the essentials you need to whip up breakfast, a laid‑back lunch or a simple dinner after a day at the beach.

The bungalow has two inviting bedrooms, each with soft box‑spring beds and its own ensuite bathroom with a walk‑in shower. No queues for the bathroom and plenty of privacy – ideal when you’re travelling with friends or family. Everything is on one level, which makes moving around easy for all ages.

Slide open the doors to your private garden and terrace, where you can start the day with coffee in the morning sun or finish it with a glass of wine in the evening. Stretch out on the sun loungers with a good book and enjoy the quiet, green surroundings of this eco‑friendly park.

Dogs are very welcome here, so your four‑legged friend can join the adventure too. Roompot Beach Resort is close by, with a dog‑friendly beach that’s open all year round. Explore the coastline together, walk along the dunes or head to De Banjaard, one of the cleanest beaches in the Netherlands, where dogs on a leash can happily play in the sand and surf.

In and around Kamperland you’ll find plenty of tasty places to eat, from fresh Zeeland mussels at Brasserie Blush to oysters at Restaurant Seafarm. Fancy a little trip? Charming towns like Veere and Domburg offer cosy bistros, beachfront terraces and pretty streets to wander.

Good to know: from 19 January to 1 February 2026, the swimming pool, sauna and squash court at nearby Roompot Beach Resort are closed for maintenance, but all other facilities remain open. And over New Year’s, the park is officially fireworks‑free – perfect if you prefer a quieter stay, although you might still hear fireworks from the surrounding area.

    Beautifully landscaped small resort. Enough to do in the area to make 10 days full. Some critical points. Upon arrival the house was reasonably clean. It could have been cleaner from us. The kitchen left traces of previous vacationers (fridge, outside kitchen cabinets with sauce) and the toilet and shower could have been cleaner. In addition, there were many dusts and cobwebs and ant nests in the cottage. The parasol outside was unfortunately broken. The toilet splashed quite a bit of (dirty) water when flushing. You cannot shade the high windows in the living room from the sun, so it can get very hot in the cottage. In addition, butterflies and dragonflies fly in and cannot find their way out because the high windows cannot be darkened. The next morning you can sweep them up unfortunately. The garden is full of ducks and bird droppings, so walking or sitting on the grass is not possible. Also applies to the decking. Because it is a bird-rich vacation park, there is little to do about it. The windows in the bedroom can only open to a limited extent, unfortunately. The floor throughout the bathroom gets very wet when showering. The exhaust in the shower does not work. The fabric (fake leather) of the chairs in the kitchen were already quite damaged. The code lock on the front door does not always work, so sometimes you have to try 6 times. And then the sheets on the beds (always at Roompot), you can re-decorate every day because they are sheets without an elastic band attached, so it sticks around the mattress. These are some critical points that I believe could and should be different, if you include the price of this vacation home. All in all, we had a very nice vacation. Perhaps you should not make high demands on a vacation home nowadays? In high summer we would not like to be here because of the hot house, but in spring or autumn it is a nice place to have a vacation. Hopefully the critical points will be seriously addressed so that other vacationers are not inconvenienced by this.

    Mooi aangelegd kleinschalig vakantiepark. Genoeg in de omgeving te doen om 10 dagen vol te maken. Een aantal kritische punten. Bij aankomst was de woning redelijk schoon. Het had schoner mogen zijn van ons. De keuken liet sporen van de vorige vakantiegangers na (koelkast, buitenkant keukenkastjes met saus) en de WC en douche hadden schoner gemogen. Daarnaast zaten er veel stofjes en spinnenwebben en mieren nesten in het huisje. De parasol buiten was helaas kapot. De WC spat flink wat (vies) water bij doortrekken. De hoge ramen in de woonkamer kan je niet verduisteren tegen de zon, waardoor het erg warm kan worden in het huisje. Daarnaast vliegen er vlinders en libellen naar binnen die de weg naar buiten niet meer kunnen vinden omdat de hoge ramen niet verduisterd kunnen worden. De volgende ochtend kan je ze opvegen helaas. De tuin ligt vol eenden en vogelpoep, dus lekker op het gras lopen of zitten is er niet bij. Geldt ook voor de vlonder. Omdat het een vogelrijk vakantiepark is, is hier weinig aan te doen. De ramen in de slaapkamer kunnen maar beperkt open helaas. De vloer in heel de badkamer wordt erg nat tijdens het douchen. De afzuiging in de douche doet het niet. De stof (nep leer) van de stoelen in de keuken waren al flink beschadigd. Het code slot aan de voordeur doet het niet altijd, waardoor je soms 6 keer moet proberen. En dan de lakens op de bedden (altijd bij Roompot), kan je elke dag opnieuw opdekken omdat het lakens zijn zonder een elastiek eraan, zodat het om het matras vast blijft zitten. Dit zijn een aantal kritische punten waarvan ik van mening ben dat dit anders kan en mag, als je de prijs van deze vakantiewoning erbij pakt. Al met al hebben wij een hele fijne vakantie gehad. Wellicht mag je tegenwoordig geen hoge eisen meer stellen aan een vakantiewoning? In hoog zomer zouden wij vanwege het warme huisje hier niet graag willen zitten, maar in het voor- of najaar is het een mooie plek om vakantie te houden. Hopelijk worden de kritische punten serieus opgepakt, zodat andere vakantiegangers hier geen hinder van ondervinden.

    We got a cottage that was different from the pictures. We had a bunch of reeds 3 meters high as a view and no waterfront garden as in the description. That was very disappointing. Also for the dogs no garden so only a wooden terrace. So very disappointing.

    We kregen een huisje dat anders was als op de foto’s. We hadden een bos riet van 3 meter hoog als uitzicht en geen tuin aan het water zoals in de beschrijving. Dat was erg balen. Ook voor de hondjes geen tuin dus maar een houten terras. Erg teleurstellend dus.
