Good nice and quiet

I've been traveling in Europe with my van since 2018. Ireland, Scotland, lots of France, Spain, Portugal, sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right, incredibly beautiful. One campsite is wonderful, another is stupid. I can do that at 65, because I'm retired and receive a pension (widower). I have rarely been greeted so unfriendly at reception as on this campsite. This doesn't happen in Holland. Everyone is pretty relaxed. Ciao

A very nice campsite managed by very nice Dutch people. Beautiful location with beautiful nature in the area. Spacious places, good sanitary facilities. Nature swimming pool and climbing course at the campsite. Quiet at the end of September. Recommended.😊

DO NOT BOOK IN ADVANCE! They will give you terrible spots and not discuss it with you. Just excuses: "If you book in advance it's with a booking center, we can't change anything." Then they offered to downgrade us without a refund or upgrade us for extra money, which we did, because it were our last nights in the island and we did not want to look at a fence. With all the extra fees it added up to more than 200€ for 3 nights, 2 adults, 1 small car, no tent etc. As students that is very upsetting and was the biggest chunk of our vacation. Not worth the money at all: - bathrooms old and dirty - more than 10 minute walk to bathrooms from some spots, so way to few for a campground this size - one of the two bathroom houses is mixed male and female, other one even further away - toilets in same stall as showers so they are always wet - wifi even at reception costs extra - a lot extra. E-Bike rent costs 12€ for 4h - market is overpriced and not just like all the campground markets a little more, it is way overpriced! - it stinks band in some spots, even after our upgrade to paradise plus we didn't like our spot as much as the ones on the other campgrounds (which were less than half the price), big part because no privacy and bad bad smell. Smelled like poop and pee. - ways to the spots aren't really drivable: big holes and lines in the ground from the rain - it is a 10 minute drive to the next city, which is Palau, so not very good location. Reception super unfriendly, thought we don't understand them when they talk to each other in Italian while we were complaining that this spot (seen on the pictures) is not acceptable for the price we paid. Were saying things like "don't get the problem" etc. which made it clear that they didn't even want to help us. Really made us feel like they couldn't care less since they already had our money in their pockets. Never ever again going to a Baia holiday campground. Experience could be different if not reserving in advance and picking a position once your there, but it would still be way overpriced and the placing system/ categories just do not make any sense! We feel used and betrayed and friendliness was only there as long as you don't have any complaints. Also the answers to people's complaints here in the reviews are the perfect example of apologies, that really aren't any apologies ("We feel sorry, that YOU feel this way") The one single positive thing is the beach which is kinda nice, since it is a lot bigger than most campground beaches and a long stretch of shallow water, but kinda full with kids and families, so not necessarily what we were looking for...

Tractor cabin for one night. Log cabin was ok. Sanitary block in front of our part of the campground was closed. Had to drive by car to the other block. There half of the block out of order. No possibility to wash hands after toilet because the sinks were taken away.

Absolutely brilliant! We loved our time here and even extended it which was quick and easy. The facilities are great with an indoor and out door pool, bar and restaurant, walking/running trails, play areas for kids and a basketball court. The accomodation was superb with a hot and powerful shower, comfy beds and a good kitchen too. We will definitely visit again, thank you.

close to nature, hot tub

Fantastic place, a real village in the hills of Valdarno, very close to Figline, with inside restaurants, swimming pools, supermarkets and various stores, internal roads and dedicated pedestrian and bicycle paths. Very clean place and friendly and helpful staff. I have been to the Village on the occasion of a bicycle race and hp was able to visit the place, but--honestly--I have no idea what the accommodations are like. However, the standards seem very high.

Huttopia Mersault was a lovely campsite, with great facilities and great views right in the heart of the vineyards

In the middle of nowhere but what a wonderful place! If you love water then this is definitely a place to visit! We stayed in the Suite Royal which is a spacious suite but just not nicely laid out. The view is phenomenal and the beds are excellent. Totally relaxed here. What you do notice is that it is more a vacation park than a hotel because the service at the reception, for example, is minimal and it closes very early. I would have liked to do some things such as guided oyster collecting, an oyster tasting and I had to find this out for myself because the resort only offered things that were available with them. In the restaurant we had a nice meal, friendly staff but there were quite a few large groups that took over the restaurant as it were. There was a certain atmosphere missing and the restaurant was too big for the number of guests present. Is also perhaps due to the period. We will definitely come back, but I think we will choose a house instead of a suite. The wellness was small, but we really enjoyed this!
