Was here in October and wanted to stay/camp in my car for one night. Arrived there (after booking online) and it said only for motorhomes. This was nowhere to be found on the website (and until now my car was considered a motorhome because I slept in it). The sanitary facilities and everything were closed in winter. She also didn't know where else I could go. I then did some research and found what I was looking for in Mierlo.

Have been to this campground several times. Is our favorite campsite in the Veluwe, still the camping as it should be. Very friendly staff that wants and can do a lot for the customer. Beautiful in the middle of the forest with cycling and walking in the area. And all this for a friendly price incl. electricity, shower, hot water, toilet paper, and various taxes. I do not understand all those complainers about the plumbing.... you are on a campsite and not in a hotel. If it is busy and maybe bad weather too it will be a little less sometimes, but the cleaners do their best. If it is so filthy, maybe that also says something about the users......

Valamar is a chaotic Camping only for families with children not for tourists who want to spend a vacation in peace with nature. Even though the are all kind of services like market, bakeries,restaurants, pools sauna ,fitness , we didn't find a quiet place to spend our week on Valamar. I rate the baths with a 4 stars for all the commitment that the cleaning staff puts to clean after uncivilised people. Regarding the pitches the are all to near one to the other so there is no way to have some privacy. On our pitch we had no lights and we got stucked in the mud after a very rainy night.

Very, very nice campsite. We were there at the end of the season in October and were almost alone on the site. We will be back again in the summer. The site has everything you need. Pool, restaurant, 2 sanitary blocks, washing machine, dryer, etc. The WLAN was one of the best I've ever had on a campsite. The operators are super nice and we felt completely at ease. The food was delicious, the bread roll service was great and there was all kinds of information at reception. Great starting point for excursions in the region or to Strasbourg.

Quiet place on the Drau. Also ideal for a stopover on the way south. Price performance was top.

Next to military airport and festival arena - very loud and no way to sleep during night. Staff was aware of the noise, but even an early check out was not accepted. Equipment of gym is in terrible bad condition

Very good stay in mobile home chalet. Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. Minor problem with sound and heat insulation. Great welcome. Children's play area, swimming pool, ping pong table, boules area, net area. Plus fresh bread and pastries.

Very nice place. Many things possible, such as cycling, hiking and water sports. Restaurants, supermarket. Everything your heart desires. We would love to come back.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The place has a great starting point also thanks to the shuttle bus. I'd be happy to return any time 👍👍👍!
