Quiet, clean, very well equipped

Pleasant setting, very attentive and accommodating staff, even for late arrivals. All for a very affordable price. We stayed one night, but if necessary I know where to rent again. Different rental sizes and comforts. I highly recommend and will gladly return.

I recently stayed at the Huttopia Sarlat campsite and can't recommend it highly enough. The on-site team is welcoming. The campsite is a 10-minute walk from Sarlat's old town, The services on offer, such as the indoor pool and children's play areas, were much appreciated by my children. Ideal for a family vacation. We'll be back!

AVOID this expensive, crowded, underfunded, campsite, stay in a private Airbnb with your friends instead, and visit water parks and do trips out. For almost 500 Euros per day, yes 500! staying in a Premium Dune lodge with jacuzzi with 2 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms, kitchen with tiny sofa, and aircon. Basically a small mobile home, clean but compact. to get into bed shuffling sideways was the option. Outside an area of decking with jacuzzi was pleasant plus a randomly placed seating area away from the property next to the road. It was less busy on our road being the park perimeter but surrounding us were tightly squeezed in lodges - so that our neighbour could eat their lunch and see me sitting on the toilet. View was of a fence, behind which was the sand dunes. VERY EXPENSIVE for what it was, especially when the facilities were so crowded that you couldn't get a sunbed by the pools or a meal in the on-site restaurants. very poor customer service from management, 6 visits to reception and a day wasted trying to sort out the "guaranteed" wifi in our premium lodge. The engineer told us it has never worked in that area while he worked on site because of the location and it needed a dedicated service. It shouldn't be listed as part of the inclusions if it has never worked. Manager told us that it was an added bonus, NO this was listed as included in our package, specifically for 4 devices. Manager refused to offer us any refund it was the spa voucher or nothing! He really couldn't care. Our friends son broke his arm and the recepetion staff were too busy to help! Expensive food and drink on site Looks like the management have tried to squeeze in as many lodges and camping spots as possible to maximise revenue but haven't upgraded the facilities accordingly. Beach was great, but very crowded, Lifeguards were excellent as there was a strong sideways current. Premium doesn't mean premium, expectations not met, and poor customer service to follow. Very poor lighting around site and up to your property front door, No WIFI, Plastic style pillow cases, horrible, had to buy cotton ones from supermarket. Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed. Use the restaurants and bars by the lake - much better and a wider selection - only a short bike ride away. We will never return.

Nice campground with a central location. Nice staff. We had a nice spot near the toilet block, it was very large and clean. The swimming pool looked nice and there is a restaurant where you can eat very well. There is free wifi at the reception, otherwise you have to pay for it.

The facilities such as the bowling and Green scooter rental were very nice and enjoyable. The staff everywhere was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We also really liked the hot tub, although it did take a long time to heat up.

Dishonest people!!! 1 month after our departure, we are still waiting for our deposit! Ignores your emails and calls (filtering) after having told you that he would call you back to fix the problem, throws out lame excuses, in short, don't give a damn about people, no respect! What's more, the mobile home was filthy (garbage under the bed, disgusting fridge, long-standing cobwebs, disgusting crockery, only one unfortunate little saucepan for cooking, broken window shutters and the list goes on). We were also very surprised when a member of staff came to inspect the property. He gave us a ticket so we could get our deposit back, then disappeared just as quickly without inspecting the accommodation. No wonder the mobile home was in such a state. It's a good thing we're careful people. They got the place back in better condition than when we arrived. The only positive point was the proximity of the beach. In short, absolutely to be avoided!

We had a great weekend at the camp in the low season. However, I cannot recommend the tent to people who are sensitive to noise, as it is extremely loud, even after midnight. Nobody keeps to the quiet times. It is also very cold in the low season and the heating in the tent is not particularly efficient (of course). Otherwise, the tents are really well done and everything is available, as good as new and very clean. Everyone who works there is very hard-working and very helpful, whatever the question, the whole camp is very clean and there is a children's entertainment program which the children really enjoyed. There are lots of small playgrounds everywhere, so the children always find something to play, slide and swing on.

Campsite a bit expensive for the end of the season. Lots of trees, not great for television. 33 € for 2 persons with a van.

Beautifully located campground (30 min walk heart of Valkenburg, 10 min bike ride). Clean sanitary facilities, bike rental and small bar. In low season in the weekend a pizza cart. Good, large camper spots. All very dark though, so a flashlight is handy. Good wifi also. Price actually not wrong at all. Post season you're 30 euros pn for a camper lost. Bad points: very unclear all when what all is open and even then they do not stick to it. On Saturday evening bar open until 22 hours, at 2115 light already off. On Sunday pedestrian gate to valkenburg in 1x closed during the day (why really? just keep that thing open 24/7, people can walk inside anyway) You are very close to the highway. If the wind is a bit wrong you hear continuous noise. Plumbing is good and clean, but all showers have, say, a head that sprays from above with a reasonably soft jet. Not ideal for washing your hair. Also, later in the day the hot water runs out quickly.
