An excellent place for a family vacation! The tent was exactly as described: spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities, We enjoyed the bike trails nearby and even visited a few local restaurants, The scenery around the campground was breathtaking

No lie, this place has a great atmosphere, Clean, comfortable and close to nice places like Lauwersmeer, Ideal for a weekend with friends or just to recharge

A very pleasant stay overall, The cabin was spacious and the living room felt cozy for evenings inside, We had a lot of fun in the nearby Giga Rabbit Hole with the kids

What a wonderful vacation we had again. A campsite where children play together with fun and joy. Are you looking for a campground with all the trimmings? No, you should not be here. Although the facilities here are limited our kids had the time of their lives (again!!!). The owners are super nice and approachable!!! They want nothing more than to make your stay great. Not for nothing we came here 2 years in a row. Whether we come next year honor? Who knows? What we do know is that we will definitely come back. Raphael and Philippine, thanks for (again) a wonderful vacation! You rock!

Beautiful houses within walking distance to the beach. Too bad the plumbing was not more luxuriously finished. Would have been a plus, especially for the price you pay for it. In the living room miss curtains. Climate system unfortunately does not work on hot days. We could not get it cooler than 24 degrees. You know this park offers no other facilities.

Càmping dins el bosc, fresc i tranquil a ple agost. El personal molt amable i les instal.lacions netes. El lloc perfecte per anar amb la canalla petita ja que a més de fresc i bonic no accepten gossos. Sóc amant dels gossos però no tothom sap educar-los correctament i per tant aqui tens la tranquilitat d'estalviar-te ensurts i que la canalla toqui les deposicions inevitables dels animals. Faig ènfasi en això perquè tenint en compte que la majoria dels càmpings si que accepten gossos, em sembla que l'opció de no acceptar-ne és una opció que molts valorem i que s'ha de respectar. No és una obligació de ningú haver de confiar la integritat i la higiène dels seus fills a la capacitat d'un desconegut per controlar els seus gossos. De la mateixa manera que molts respectem que casi tots els càmpings acceptin gossos, trobo que els altres poden respectar la decisió d'algun camping d'oferir més tranquilitat i higiène per a infants i pares. Tornarem segur!

Great 2-night stay at your campsite with very pleasant, new, clean mobile homes. With a very pleasant receptionist and a very pleasant landscape.

A quiet prime location with little service. We stayed a total of 5 nights at this park in 2 different cottages. This was because we could not get into a cottage with hot tub until later. The first cottage was number 4. Here we stayed for 2 nights. The positioning of the cottages is super. Overlooking the lake with nice lights you really feel like you're on vacation. The large veranda with lots of shelter allows you to sit outside and because it was fenced we could let our son play there carefree. Just be aware that when wet you quickly slip on the boards. There was also a hammock where you can relax. Inside, everything seems pretty new and in both the kitchen and bathroom there is little missing. There is a dishwasher and bathtub, which we like when we are on vacation. If the weather doesn't cooperate you can play card games, there are toys for the kids and you can watch series or a movie on the smart TV. A small tip though is to replace that fancy little Brabantia trash can in the kitchen for a slightly more practical model that holds more trash. Especially with a family they are so full and we soon had to ask for new bags at cleaning. After two nights we went to cottage number 1, which was a few meters away in about the same position. Surely this was a slightly different experience. Basically, this cottage had almost the same layout (except for an extra bedroom, a smaller bathroom and hut tub) only we immediately noticed that here there were many more flies, spiders, mosquitoes and even slugs. This seriously disrupted our comfort and sleep. We ended up killing about 20 mosquitoes the first night and because there was no screen for the bedroom window we had to sleep in tropical temperatures because the window was forced to close. By the way, there was a fan available but it didn't help much with a daytime temperature of 32 degrees. The hot tub, by the way, was absolutely great with this temperature! Note that you have to plug in the pump and heat it yourself with wood, which you have to buy. This takes several hours because it initially fills with cold water. What we did find to be a major drawback throughout our stay is that there is little to no staff at the park. For example, we had to deal with a key not working properly on the lock of the door which made it difficult for us to get in the first day. When looking for help, no one appeared to be present and when we tried to reach the phone number it appeared to be unreachable. We understand that due to the small scale of the place, it is not always possible to have someone there but it is therefore desirable to at least respond by phone or via the bell installed at the bar. Fortunately, after trying for a long time, the door did open. We also had a crib that was too small for our 1.5 year old son. The crib was more like a crib so he could climb right out. When we asked if we could get another cot we got no response via whatsapp. A pity because we had to pay extra for this. Finally we asked the cleaning staff but they could not help us. We were forced to buy a camp bed in Leeuwarden. Finally, the common area is nice. There are many chill opportunities and there are many toys available for children. This was very nice the first few days but due to the lack of any form of entertainment, and the bar being self-service, you soon find yourself on your own. We had expected, especially in the main season, a little more entertainment. Also because in the immediate vicinity there is only arable farming. By the way, what we could really appreciate is the small scale of this park. This allows you to really unwind and not get in each other's way. The conclusion is that we have had a number of nice days, which did leave a small mark due to the lack of service and the state of the second house.

Really disappointed with the campsite with my works council we were described 700 meters from the beach. first beach 2.5 km away no entertainment for teenagers so my son went in circles (14 years old) although it was advertised. at the reception no smile for a so-called 4 stars prices at the bar Really too high level of entertainment from outsiders repetitive not to mention that at 23:00 no more noise in the campsite so even children can not continue to play or talk in the campsite otherwise the vigil intervenes? Really abused after for Loan + Benjamin the animators of the camp-site a bravo for their courage too bad that it and not more recognition otherwise mobiles home nothing to say

Check in quite hurried and without providing important details, rooms to be remodeled, but really nice facility, great location, good breakfast and fabulous, modern and large pool

We have been 3 weeks between July and August and we return with much regret to leave the campsite. I had already been in the 90s with my parents and now I have returned with my husband and my son, a very familiar and super care campsite. The toilets are continuously cleaned and the cleaning staff is very friendly and attentive. The supermarket prices are reasonable and the staff working in both the supermarket and the creperie are very friendly. The shows in the evenings with Tino the Argentinian and all his companions like Pau, Dani... all wonderful and very attentive to the children. We had a mishap with the plot on arrival and Berta from reception told us that she would talk to her superior and tell us something, so she did. She contacted me and in less than 24 hours they gave us a solution that satisfied us. Thank you Berta for your attention and professionalism. The Beach Club de 10, good attention, good prices and very friendly staff. The pool bar is a bit expensive and the service is a bit slow. To improve would be the waiting time at the pizzeria and the fast food bar by the pool, there are times when there is only one guy and as much as he runs, the poor guy can not with everything ... emphasize that he is very friendly. Undoubtedly, an excellent destination to enjoy with the family.
