Really lovely, clean, friendly camp site.

I am befuddled at the lack of cleanliness, comfort ability and just general sense of what the basics are. There was no oven in our “Luxury Caravan” there was no TV, the beds were glorified plastic. The shower kept breaking off and needed screwing back on every time someone took a shower. Nothing here or around here opens past 8pm so really you’re stuck in a caravan in the middle of nowhere with just your intrusive thoughts about whether to end it all.

We stayed at your park during our bathroom remodel and really had a fantastic time. We all felt at home in the cozy lodge with the nice garden. The kids had a super good time in the pool and we could easily go into the woods or bike across Beekhuizerzand. A wonderful time and although it was not really a vacation for us (we were allowed to work and in the beginning the children still went to school) it felt like that. Thank you for everything. Second experience at the Bois de la Gachère campsite, we came last year in a tent and this year we took a mobile home, cosy for 4 people. Brand new and beautiful, they're top-notch! The kids' club is great, and the girls loved Romy. Great atmosphere in the evening in the campsite restaurant, Chez Maurice. We'll be back with great pleasure.

FarmCamps Smulhoeve is a fantastic place for a relaxing and adventurous vacation. The hospitable owners provide a warm welcome and make your stay unforgettable. The luxury tents are comfortable and fully equipped. Children can have hours of fun with the farm animals and exciting activities. The surroundings are beautiful and offer plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking. It is a great experience for the whole family, where you can really escape from the daily hustle and bustle. Definitely recommended!

very nice, newly laid out site. the terrace area is very nice and offers a beautiful view of the countryside. the beach is within walking distance.

We were with a caravan. Looks really nice in the photos and some of the amenities are very good. Toilets and showers etc, however, the restaurant serves only sandwiches and pizzas in the evening. Nothing else nearby. The pool is municipal is lovely and big with plenty of green around it but at the weekends it was absolutely packed and noisy. There is one area of the site that is mainly for people who appear to be living there. The other area is a bit nicer but near the children's play area where the teenagers seemed to gather at night..Also a bit noisy. School trips. Some nice walks just outside the site. Have to pay upfront and as it was noisy we asked if possible to leave 1 day earlier, ( nervous dog) but no refunds.

With several families, we booked three spots. Next to each other. The reception was gruff. We were given minimal explanation about the area. Thus, after our stay couple we found out that there were swing gates from the campsite gave access to hiking and biking trails. For a decent ampere of electricity we had to pay extra per day. Even though we had three power points two of which were not working properly. The entertainment for the children was done with enthusiasm, however the materials were lousy (empty markers, no glue etc) The fine sanitary facilities, also specially a very nice one for the children, were cleaned very moderately and irregularly. The campsite manager/manager, a gruff man, was totally uninterested in our comments and complaints. He indicated that there would be layoffs among the staff and that was all he could do. The staff, however, was friendly and accommodating. Very unfortunate. This campground definitely has potential to pass as 5 stars, once some drastic changes are made in the staff.

Excellent place to spend a few relaxing days. Management very efficient in solving problems. Downside: catering staff not very knowledgeable about campsite operations.

We were in a bungalow tent. Lovely spot, tents spread out in the dunes. No running water at the tent.
