Accomodation with jacuzzi was a great plus, especially for the kids.

Very disappointed. We arrived with the intention of spending five memorable days, and unfortunately we will not forget them. We drove a 5 m long camper van, the pitches are not bad in size, but they are not designed for the climate of Brittany: they are not at an angle, there is no drainage and the asphalt of the roads is terrible. The result is permanent humidity and a pitch that is a muddy mess at the first rain. The service is deplorable: the clothes dryers broke down and the only option we were given was to wait three days for the service to come and that they were going to change the contract (sic.). It has no other services: there is no way to buy food except for some cereal at the front desk, everything is chargeable (even the electrical connection to the pitch) and the internet just doesn't work most of the time. The pool is a bit warm and nice, especially with kids. The restaurant is not open every day (closed on Monday on our visit). They offer a number of activities that are great for kids, and they have a kids club. Certainly calling this campground "5 star" is not correct, although on days with good weather it is nice. I would recommend them to improve the experience in rainy weather.

The stay was super, despite the weather really super. Only regret that the cottage was not so clean, for us there was probably a family with dog so the windows were dirty too. Mattress is in need of renewal. Further: Top location. Friendly staff. Fantastic place. Brasserie with super delicious food and top service. We enjoyed it! Thank you!

Woooooow in one word super! What a great campsite, both for adults and kids. It is beautifully situated among the hills of Italy. Dora and Myron are very hospitable, just like their two kids! There is lots to do for the kids (pool, playground, dance grove, soccer field, mini disco and craft room) also the wine tasting, the emtb bike tour, Italian breakfast and all the cozy pizza evenings were delicious! We enjoyed it immensely!!!

A beautiful encounter A stopover for 1 night, we were welcomed with a smile. A simple campsite, but clean and pleasant. We even had the chance to dine at the little restaurant, with its atypical 60s decor, and enjoy a private concert. TOP!

A campsite on a human scale, with bare pitches or rentals. A superb new lagoon is an undeniable plus. The village of Payrac is a 5-minute walk away.

Stayed in a Cabin for a week in peak summer. Whole family really enjoyed it. The lack of much phone signal and no Wi-Fi to really disconnect helped. Was our first time at a Huttopia and we will go back to one. ||Cabin offered extra living space we appreciated and would have been more bearable for sleeping than the Trappeur type of it had been very hot (say 30/35 degrees). We did note that some Trappeur tents (eg around 75) higher up the site had better views though than our one (No.11) which was a great balance between proximity to the village and being secluded. Some right by the village (eg No.9) were closer but quite exposed to passers by. For that reason, I’d recommend paying the 90euro to choose your own location. The camping pitches at the top of the site looked really nice - secluded with views. ||Food was good (especially the wood fired pizzas) although limited choice but we found the drinks expensive (8 euros for a pint of beer) and the coffee depended on who made it - some of the seasonal staff were excellent, some more variable. On the whole though the staff were very friendly and accommodating / especially the excellent Paolo in the acitvity team. Bread and pastries in the morning (which you order the night before) were very good - you can put everything on your bill. ||Nice selection of kids activities each day which are included. You can book them up to two days in advance so people don’t block book for their stay. The tree climbing is very popular. As is the lovely woodland sauna/pool spa for the adults - family slots are available but go very quickly. A word for younger / English-speaking kids - we found that whilst the activity host speaks English because, during our stay, most of the guests were French then they were mostly done in French. Also, one class had 16 kids for one host which we felt was too many (despite them being included/free). Intended to leave kids for a hosted treasure hunt but had to stay in the end and do it myself as wasn’t really suitable for younger children in our view. Older kids would be no issue and we were grateful for the classes nonetheless. Bike hire is available - including electric and kid carriers. ||The laundry is 4 euro to do a wash and you can put that on your bill too. ||There is a free internet terminal in the main restaurant area. The wooden playgrounds are close to the bar / restaurant terrace, so you can finish dinner whilst keeping a near eye on the kids. There was a lovely atmosphere there amongst fellow guests. The pool was very busy and is unmanned - signs said no diving but quite a lot of kids were. Fun, of course, but something to bear in mind if you have really little ones - although we got around that by going at less peak times and it was great. The evening entertainment in the restaurant terrace area on a few nights a week was good and loved by the kids. ||The ‘village’ aspect of this Huttopia was great - it’s a really good concept that is well executed - and it’s in a superb region that was a delight to explore - we enjoyed Monpazier, Sarlat and Periguex, amongst others - we had a great time and would be very happy to return.

Very good stay in a mobile home at this friendly, family-run campsite. The managers and staff are friendly and responsive. Heated indoor pool, ping pong, pétanque, trampoline, everything is there. The location is good, with access to a cycling path between glass and sea as soon as you leave the campsite. A small multisport city stadium would be a must.

Popular: The very friendly and courteous staff deserve special mention. The place is beautifully situated and quiet. The swimming pool by the restaurant is great and the restaurant has good food. The mussel pot with very fresh mussels was very tasty! Disliked: German campsites almost always have a small store, which we missed here. And we didn't like the toilet block on the T site as it was quite a long way to the sanitary building. Only one very spartan toilet each for men and women was not so nice. We have had better facilities in the same area on pure pitches. It would be nice if something were improved.
