The site itself is well located, the staff very friendly and helpful and the pool well maintained. Well located for a visit to the city center, the bus leaves directly in front of the campsite. However, the pitches are very tiny, some of the tent pitches are on a slope so that sleeping in a tent is not really realistic (but made us laugh a bit) and the sanitary facilities urgently need a thorough clean. The washbasins, toilets and showers are superficially clean, but there is a musty smell in the showers and the cobwebs on the ceiling and lamps are also older. The prices in the restaurant are very high for the quality and service.

The campsite is huge and offers a lot for an extra charge. We didn't like the campsite at all, too many people and very noisy even in the evening. Our pitch was totally muddy and was not filled with gravel. We received a small compensation for this, but the site is still not worth it! There was also broken glass on the pitch and we have children, sorry that's not possible. The beach is also not to my taste and totally overcrowded.

A really great camp site!

A week of peace and quiet in the heart of a forest. Highly recommended.

Pleasant campsite, clean toilets, friendly staff, good atmosphere, lively evenings, restaurant with suggestions for aperitifs, salads, pizzas, desserts...generous. Many thanks to Cassandre and Hervé for their warm welcome.

Nothing to say! The only regret is that we didn't have the opportunity to try out the stove in the accommodation, so we could have a little flambé when night fell! The activities on offer are of a very high standard, and many are directly accessible on foot. There are no cars on the estate, which takes a lot of the worry out of children. We went there with friends, and there were plenty of opportunities to get together, whether to eat, share convivial moments on the terrace lit up at dusk, around the pool, in the Finnish baths, or during the fun and creative activities. The concept and the brand are now among our favorites for short breaks!

I think a fair reflection would have been 2.5 as a rating. The location is great for those wanting to visit Mont st Michel and the surrounding area. The staff that we spoke to are lovely and the little farm at the bottom is a nice touch. However we found the bathroom and shower facilities lacking in both cleanliness and effectiveness. What is with the no toilet seat policy in certain parts of France, it's really not that hard to clean a toilet seat. It's unfair especially for women and those less able to ask them to squat/sit directly on a toilet bowl. It's not a cheap campsite so toilet seats should be included! There's quite a lot of road noise if you're one of the unlucky ones to have to pitch near the entrance and there's a horrible smell coming from the waste disposal/toilet unit that wafts through the camp. Not ideal if you're trying to eat.

Solid campsite for a three star place. The pitches were a good size and there was so much to do in the town and surrounding places - all within an hours drive. Pétanque was a lot of fun, and the pool area is big - but pool is very cold! The breakfast is also pretty good - though i’d suggest heading into town to a great Creperie instead, and the bar is also nice. Pizza’s left a lot to be desired though. All in all, we had a nice week. But probably won’t come back.

Well-situated campsite for visiting the city
