Nice staff , especially the (foreign) guy who came to clean our jacuzzi. Beautifully landscaped gardens.

We were earlier and the employee called us nicely when the keys were in and we could go to the cottage half an hour earlier. Great service.

The shows the kids really enjoyed.

Great campsite. Kids have a great time. The farmer always makes time to answer questions from his guests. We had 2 great weeks at the campground. The homemade ice cream is also highly recommended. Many different flavors and all good.

A few weeks ago we stayed at this camping in a lodge where we had the possibility to cook and had our own fridge and the beds were already made and very clean. The sheets smelled really nice and the hostess was also very kind and explained everything really well. The furniture is also good and we made use of it all. Besides the plates, cups and cutlery were minimal but just enough for 4 person. It could be extended perhaps a bit more. There is the possibility to loan a bbq at the reception. What is not so nice is that these lodges are not in shadow, so if you experience weather above 28 degrees, it is quite hot until late inside the tent, though around 2300 hr the temperatures dropped which made that we could sleep incl the kids, in the end, very well. For the rest it is good to mention that the owners are very kind and if we had a complaint they take care of it and are very much willing to improve. They are a bit strict on the ruling, though it makes it clear for everyone on what is expected. The swimming pool is a bit small for the size of the camping and basically only kids go in and out often, but they plan te renovate/ expand it for next year if they get the permits etc. The lake at the camping area is ok for a swim, as quite a lot of people enjoyed it during our stay. Although I don’t like to personally swim inside of this, a bit dirty lake, I prefer a clean swimming pool in stead, to be honest. The water of the lake must be pretty good and healthy as there is a lot of fish inside and kids and myself enjoyed fishing! Tip: You can buy small worms in the French supermarket in a fridge near by the fishing gear. The “table d’Hôtes” is good and tasty for the prices offered. And the owners arrange it all very well. Especially we like the pizza night on Thursday and the chorizo paella! Maybe good to mention that we experienced that there were many acquaintances, family or friends of the owners present, which sometimes determines the atmosphere a bit, and can be experienced as disturbing by the guests during the evening and / or dinner or if you would like to have some attention of the owner. Also for the kids everything is there and they very much enjoyed every single minute of being here on this camping with all its facilities etc. So all in all we had a good time on this camping and we’re happy we stayed here this summer! other tips for the area: near by, in Sidiailles (20 minutes by car) there is a very nice climbing forest and clean lake to swim. Especially for the small kids to swim as there is an undeep area and life guards in the summer from 1300-1800, and a coffee counter with food/ drinks/ ice cream etc. Very nice place to stay for a day. Nice city to visit is Montlucon (30 mn by car)
