Boutique Camping Heart of NatureSmall-scale glamping in the middle of nature - close to Slovenia. There is also a hotel attached, with restaurant (didn't use it - bit limited menu), toilet block and swimming pool (which can be covered). The tent is well equipped and spacious, but was very hot on arrival (it was 35 degrees outside) and there is no air conditioning or fan. We purchased those ourselves. Fortunately, it got cooler the following days, so it was more manageable (especially at night). There is an outdoor kitchen, which is nice and a nice porch and spacious patio with lounge sofa and hammock. That was lovely. There is a soccer field and also the pool is nice for young people. In the evening it is also open (closed roof). There are families with older children (12+) and there are many Dutch, which was nice for the kids - you quickly make contact. You are a bit far away from everything though. For a small bakery/supermarket it's about a 10-minute drive (for example, to get breakfast). For larger groceries you have to go to Karlovac. There is also a nice swimming place by the river - fine for a day. Zagreb is about an hour's drive away and worth a visit. Also Plitvice lakes (an hour and a half) or rafting on the Mreznica can be done from this location.

Kleinschalige glamping midden in de natuur - dichtbij Slovenië. Er is ook een hotel bij, met restaurant (geen gebruik van gemaakt - beetje beperkte kaart), toiletgebouw en zwembad (dat overdekt kan worden). De tent is goed uitgerust en ruim, maar was bij aankomst erg warm (het was buiten 35 graden) en er is geen airco of een ventilator. Die hebben we zelf aangeschaft. Gelukkig werd het de dagen daarna wat koeler, zodat het beter te doen was (met name 's nachts). Er is een buitenkeuken, wat leuk is en een mooie veranda en ruim terras met loungebank en hangmat. Dat was heerlijk. Er is een voetbalveld en ook het zwembad is leuk voor jongeren. 's avonds is deze ook open (dicht dak). Er komen gezinnen met oudere kinderen (12+) en er zijn veel Nederlanders, dat was leuk voor de kinderen - je legt er snel contact. Je bent wel wat ver weg van alles. Voor een kleine bakker/supermarkt is het ongeveer 10 minuten rijden (bijvoorbeeld om ontbijt te halen). Voor grotere boodschappen moet je naar Karlovac. Daar is ook een leuke zwemgelegenheid aan de rivier - prima voor een dagje. Zagreb is een klein uurtje rijden en de moeite waard. Ook Plitvice meren (anderhalf uur) of raften op de Mreznica is vanaf deze locatie te doen.

Camping Dal van de MosbeekThe campground does well where it influences itself. Clean and fresh plumbing, nice spacious sites and nice play areas for the kids. Paying with a SEP card for hot water is a bit dated, though. At 24 cents per minute it's certainly not the cost, but it doesn't really feel of our time. There are more options to encourage economical water use. And this way you can only turn the shower on or off. For me as a lover of fresh showers, it was regularly way too hot. The further disadvantages were mostly external factors. I recognize the earlier comment about noise into the night. Maybe it was the scouting building behind the campsite or somewhere a barn party at a farm, but several evenings music could be heard into the night. Furthermore, there were some children, especially around the field with the big bouncy castle and by the water playground, but most of the campground was full of seniors. For our own children we had hoped for a more youthful crowd. Of course the camping can't do much about it, probably purely coincidental for our weeks. And it is a pity that cafe / snack bar The Manderie is open only to a limited extent. On weekends and I think sometimes on Wednesdays, but in high season and especially with the high temperatures it would be a nice option to get a drink or ice cream. It was a shame though that it was still closed quite a few days.

De camping doet goed waar het zelf invloed op heeft. Schoon en fris sanitair, mooie ruime plaatsen en leuke speelplekken voor de kinderen. Betalen met een SEP card voor warm water is wel wat gedateerd. Met 24 cent per minuut zijn het zeker de kosten niet, maar het voelt niet echt van deze tijd. Er zijn meer opties om zuinig waterverbruik te stimuleren. En op deze manier kan je de douche alleen maar aan of uit zetten. Voor mij als liefhebber van fris douchen was het regelmatig veel te heet. De verdere nadelen waren vooral externe factoren. Ik herken de eerdere opmerking over lawaai tot in de nacht. Misschien was het het scouting gebouw achter de camping of ergens een schuur feest bij een boerderij, maar meerdere avonden was er toch tot in de nacht muziek te horen. Verder waren er wel wat kinderen, vooral rondom het veld met het grote springkussen en bij de water speelplaats, maar het gros van de camping stond vol senioren. Voor onze eigen kinderen hadden we op nog wat meer jeugdig publiek gehoopt. Kan de camping uiteraard weinig aan doen, wellicht puur toeval voor onze weken. En het is jammer dat café/snackbar De Manderie beperkt open is. In het weekend en volgens mij ook wel eens op woensdag, maar in het hoogseizoen en zeker met de hoge temperaturen zou het een fijne optie zijn om een drankje of ijsje te halen. Het was wel jammer dat het toch nog best wat dagen gesloten was.
