Camping Pian D'AmoraFine terrace camping in Tuscany with mostly Dutch guests! We spent 10 days here in September and we really liked it. The campsite has nice spots and a beautiful swimming pool with bar and view. The toilet building (downstairs) had fine showers but is in need of renovation a number of door locks were broken and the washing up area is not really practical. Out of 8 sinks (actually made for washing clothes) only 1 sink had hot water. In general, the campground could use some work here and there to make things a little neater. For beautiful nature walks or bike rides we took the car because the campsite is not really suitable as a starting point for this. A climb to Monte Rondinao is highly recommended (starting point hike: 1.5 hours by car). In the evening until 12 o'clock there is quite some nuisance from the campsite's restaurant. This is located at the top of the lower terrace part and here mainly (noisy) Italians come to eat from the village. All in all, we had a great time at this campsite. By the way, the town of Barga is also well worth a visit!

Fijne terrascamping in Toscane met veelal Nederlandse gasten! We zijn hier 10 dagen geweest in september en dit is ons erg goed bevallen. De camping heeft mooie plekken en een prachtig zwembad met bar en uitzicht. Het toiletgebouw (beneden) had fijne douches maar is wel toe aan renovatie een aantal deursloten waren kapot en de afwasgelegenheid is niet echt praktisch. Op 8 wasbakken (die eigenlijk gemaakt zijn voor kleding te wassen) had slechts 1 wasbak warm water. Over het algemeen mag er op de camping her en der wel wat aangepakt worden om de boel wat netter te maken. Voor het maken van mooie natuurwandelingen of fietstochten hebben we de auto gepakt omdat de camping niet echt geschikt is als startpunt hiervoor. Een klim naar Monte Rondinao is een aanrader (startpunt wandeling: 1,5 uur met de auto). In de avond is er tot 12 uur best wel wat overlast vanuit het restaurant van de camping. Dit bevindt zich bovenaan het onderste terrassendeel en hier komen voornamelijk (luidruchtige) Italianen eten vanuit het dorp. Al met al hebben we een fijne tijd gehad op deze camping. Het stadje Barga is overigens ook zeker de moeite waard!
