General information
Escape to the countryside and unwind in the Bulrush Bell Tent, part of a peaceful adults-only glamping retreat with just three luxury bell tents on a spacious two-acre meadow. With plenty of room to breathe and relax, this is the perfect spot if you’re looking for comfort, nature and a bit of privacy.
Your 5-metre bell tent is individually furnished with a sturdy wooden frame and a comfy double bed, complete with bedding and linen already made up for you. Coir matting, soft rugs, chairs and bedside tables give the tent a cosy, homely feel. Travelling with extra guests? There’s space for up to two more people on single airbeds with bedding, so you can share the experience without sacrificing comfort.
Each tent has access to its own private bathroom, so no sharing with the whole campsite here. A short stroll away, in a converted shepherd’s hut near the old stables, you’ll find your private toilet and shower facilities – clean, convenient and just for you.
Cooking is easy in the covered outdoor kitchen area, where you’ll have a picnic bench, camping gas cooker, barbecue and all the basic kitchen essentials you need. At the old stables you’ll also find a communal pot wash area, table and chairs, electric points for charging your phone, plus a fridge and small freezer for your food and drinks.
Love local flavours? You can buy fresh bread, milk and other basics on-site, as well as eggs from nearby hens and seasonal produce straight from the garden. It doesn’t get much fresher than that.
The meadow-style garden is ideal for slow mornings with a coffee, relaxed afternoons in the sun and long barbecue evenings under the stars. Wellies, towels and torches are recommended, so you’re ready for any adventure the weather brings. And yes, your dog can come too – this pet-friendly retreat welcomes up to two pets, so no one has to stay at home.
With parking on-site, peaceful surroundings and plenty of green space, Bulrush Bell Tent is a charming countryside escape for couples or small groups who want to enjoy nature with a little extra luxury.
