Looking for a peaceful adults-only escape in the English countryside? At Lilypad Bell Tent in Norfolk you stay in a stylish bell tent in the middle of a green, private meadow – with all the comforts you need for a relaxing glamping break.

Each of the three 5-metre bell tents is individually furnished with a solid wooden bed frame, a comfy double bed, coir matting, soft rugs and cosy chairs. Bedside tables plus fresh bedding and linens are all ready for you when you arrive. Travelling with friends? Extra single airbeds with bedding can be added so you can sleep up to four people in the tent.

Every tent has its own private bathroom, set a short stroll away in a converted shepherd’s hut near the old stables. Here you’ll find your own toilet and shower – no sharing with other guests, just calm and privacy whenever you need it.

Outside your tent you have a covered cooking area that’s all yours. Fire up the camping gas cooker or barbecue, sit at the picnic bench and enjoy long, lazy meals in the fresh air. Pots, pans and basic kitchenware are provided, and there’s also a communal pot wash area plus extra seating with a table and chairs.

Need a few modern comforts? There are electric points for charging your phone, a fridge and a small freezer. You can even buy fresh bread, milk and local goodies on site, plus eggs from the garden hens and seasonal produce straight from the vegetable patch.

Surrounded by around two acres of meadow, there’s plenty of space to breathe, wander and unwind. This relaxed glamping spot is pet-friendly too, so your dog can join the adventure (don’t forget your wellies, towels and a torch for evening strolls). With on-site parking, a charming garden and barbecue facilities, Lilypad Bell Tent is a lovely base for discovering Norfolk – or for doing absolutely nothing at all.
