Here you combine the best of both worlds: sandy beaches like Blackpool Sands and Slapton on your doorstep, and a tranquil rural setting with fields, fresh air and starry nights.

The lodge is spread over two levels and is perfect for couples, friends or a small family. On the ground floor you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen where you can easily cook breakfast, lazy lunches or simple dinners after a day at the beach. The comfortable lounge has a sofa that converts into a queen-size bed, ideal if you’re travelling with kids or an extra couple. There’s also a compact shower room with sink and WC, plus a small dining area where you can enjoy meals together or plan tomorrow’s adventures.

A full king-size bed, cleverly tucked away behind a privacy curtain, makes the ground floor feel like a snug hotel room at night – great if you like your own little retreat. Take the spiral staircase upstairs and you’ll discover another double bed, along with a playful “Kids Only” den. Children reach their hideout via a cute push-along wooden car, and once inside they’ll find an Xbox with games – the perfect place for them to chill while you relax downstairs.

Outside, Oak Tree Lodge has even more surprises. You have private access to a charming Shepherd’s Hut and a stylish wooden lodge, ideal for long, laid-back evenings, outdoor dining and relaxing in the fresh country air, even if the weather isn’t perfect. The lodge sits on a working dairy farm, so now and then you’ll hear cows mooing and birds singing along the quiet lane – a real slice of Devon countryside life.

Pets are not allowed, which helps keep the space calm and comfortable for all guests.
