Escape together to a romantic shepherd’s hut on the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales. ‘Elen’ Gypsy Hut is a cosy hideaway for two, surrounded by sweeping countryside views and the dramatic Yr Eifl mountains, close to Snowdonia National Park.

Step inside and you’ll find everything you need for an easy, relaxing stay. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a two-ring hob, oven, fridge-freezer and a charming Belfast sink, so you can cook simple breakfasts or a cosy dinner for two. After a day of exploring, curl up in the comfy double bed and enjoy the peaceful silence of the countryside.

The ensuite shower room makes your stay extra comfortable, with towels and bedding provided, plus complimentary organic goat’s milk soap for a little touch of luxury. On cooler evenings, light the wood-burning stove and make the hut feel extra snug while you listen to your favourite playlist on the Bluetooth speaker.

Outside, you have your own private space to enjoy the fresh Welsh air. Relax on the outdoor seating with a morning coffee, fire up the BBQ for a laid-back dinner, or sit by the fire pit as the sun sets behind the mountains. Logs are provided for your first night, so you can start your stay in front of a crackling fire. Parking is conveniently located just behind the hut, and with a minimum stay of three nights, you’ll have plenty of time to unwind and discover the area.

The hut sits on a small, charming site with five uniquely styled shepherd’s huts, each with its own character and bespoke interior. You’re in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to sandy beaches, scenic walking routes and the magical Italian-style village of Portmeirion.
