This luxurious shepherd’s hut is tucked away in a wildflower meadow on the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula, close to the border of Snowdonia National Park. From your spot by the lake you have uninterrupted views of the Yr Eifl (The Rivals) mountains – perfect for daydreaming with a coffee, or planning your next walk together. And when you feel like exploring, the charming Italian-style village of Portmeirion is just a short drive away.

Inside, the hut is stylish, snug and made for couples. There’s a comfy double bed, a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge-freezer and a classic Belfast sink, so you can easily cook your favourite meals. The modern ensuite shower room comes with eco-friendly toiletries and a heated towel radiator, so you stay warm and pampered after a day outdoors.

On cooler evenings you can curl up by the wood-burning stove – logs are provided – and enjoy music through the Anker Bluetooth speaker while you relax. Prefer being outside? Fire up the fire pit (again, with complimentary logs), cook under the open sky and sit out late by the water, wrapped in blankets and enjoying the clear Welsh night.

You’ll have your own table and seating both indoors and outdoors, plus private parking right behind the hut. The site features five bespoke shepherd’s huts in total, each with its own character and eclectic interior, but you still keep a feeling of privacy and seclusion. With a minimum stay of three nights, this is the ideal place to really slow down, reconnect with each other and enjoy nature at your own pace.
