We came here on a whim and discovered that the campground consists of two sections. One where you can book your own restroom cabin, and another section intended for self-contained RVs. So there are no toilets or showers—not even a sink to wash dishes. And you pay a hefty 35.- for that, which I think is a bit overpriced.

We stayed at the campground in late July on a site with private restroom facilities. Tent, two adults, and two children.

The site: In the front section with private restrooms, the noise level from the highway is barely noticeable. You can hear the cars, but the traffic is manageable. The same goes for train traffic. Our site was rocky, and we had to go buy new tent stakes right away, but that’s to be expected in the Alps. The private restroom facilities were very clean and functional. Electricity and water were included in the booking price. If you want, you can strike up a conversation with your neighbors even outside the washroom, or you can enjoy your privacy while doing the dishes. The spot was perfectly adequate for a 6-person tunnel tent plus a car.

Child-friendliness: There’s a public playground and a public swimming pool at the reception area, which can be used free of charge. Since we were out and about all day, this was perfectly sufficient for us, though it might be a bit lacking if you plan to spend entire days at the campground.

Transportation: The campground is well-suited for day trips, as it’s located right off the expressway. You can also take the bus for free in both directions, though it only offers a direct route to the village.

Other amenities: There’s a bread roll delivery service, but we didn’t use it. There’s a pizzeria by the pool that also runs the poolside kiosk.
In other reviews, people mention that the paths are a bit neglected. Yes, BUT. The campground was taken over relatively recently, and you can’t fix everything all at once. That said, the value for the price was really good.

When we left, the campground was relatively full.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Austria Parks Camping site in the Arlberg region and can recommend it 100%!
The campground is beautifully situated at an elevation of 1,200 meters and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. A huge plus in terms of comfort is the private restroom building right next to the campsite, which is fully equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, and even its own sink for washing dishes.
A stay here is especially ideal for families with children: There’s a large playground right in front of the campground, and the absolute highlight is that free admission to the Wellness Park Arlberg—which includes a swimming pool—is included in the stay.
The entire team was always very kind and friendly, and the surrounding area serves as the perfect starting point for hikes and bike rides.
    We’ll definitely be back!
