A top-notch, modern campground—the restrooms, in particular, are fantastic. Extremely beautiful and incredibly clean. The store is also really great—you can find everything there. However, the campground is primarily geared toward families, who can definitely benefit from the value for the price.

However, we weren’t convinced by the value for money. This was due to issues beyond the campground’s control, but they were very bothersome to us. The campground is very noisy during the day—which is due to the many children and families there. While we were parking, children were running and riding balance bikes all over the place. On top of that, we had the misfortune of having very annoying neighbors. Well past 10 p.m., there was loud laughter and drinking—and despite repeated complaints from us and others, they kept it up. For us, however, the biggest downside was the weird summer festival last Saturday across the lake—bass thumping all day long, which unfortunately really ruined our day.

Hello, this campground was a huge disappointment. We had been looking forward to our 5-night stay, but were disappointed within just a few minutes when we realized we had been assigned a tent site even though we had booked a standard site. We tried to clarify the situation, but were simply told that the website and the map were currently being updated. They claimed the map wasn’t an actual map, but just a symbolic image, and that this was stated in the Terms and Conditions. There’s no mention of this in the Terms and Conditions.
After exactly 25 hours and 38 minutes, we checked out early. According to the operator, we hadn’t been there for 24 hours......
It wasn’t until we got home (10 days later)—since we just wanted to leave—that we noticed the deposit for the keys hadn’t been refunded, even though the two of us had returned all three keys on the day of departure. After politely inquiring with the campground, we were told that, 10 days later, they could not verify whether we had returned the electronic chip keys and therefore could not refund the deposit.

For us, it is therefore clear: This stay was disappointing in several respects—both because of what we consider to be misleading booking information and because of how our early departure was handled, and ultimately because of the unreimbursed deposit. We have never had an experience like this at a campground before. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this campground and will certainly not be returning.

    In response to your message:
To clarify, we did not have a TV connection, even though we had booked one. We were merely offered a pitch change: if a spot became available the next day at 11 a.m., there was a small chance we could move to another spot. If you believe we received what we booked, you should urgently revise your booking page to reflect the services offered!

“Illustrative image” were their exact words. Many spots aren’t marked on the map.

To clarify once again, we stayed with you for more than 24 hours, and I have this in writing! Stick to the TRUTH!

Regarding the charge for 5 nights instead of one night—that’s perfectly fine and was never disputed! The only issues raised were the discrepancy between the booked services and what we actually received, and the deposit that wasn’t refunded!

Regarding the key fob. Upon arrival and also on your website, we were not informed—and there is no mention—that a deposit is required for the keys. Upon departure, we had to pay the deposit even though we had returned the keys. We were so upset that we unfortunately did not check the bill carefully on site. Given today’s technology, it’s certainly possible to track exactly when the reserved keys for a specific spot were issued and returned in the system—even weeks later. It’s also very strange that a deposit has to be paid upon departure.

My criticism reflects what actually happened! Here’s an example of how long we were actually there! Just to clarify: 25 hours and 38 minutes is more than 24 hours—maybe not by much, but it’s still more!!!

    Dear travelers, STAY AWAY! Unfriendly!

    Liebe Reisende, FINGER WEG! Unfreundlich!
Es gibt noch andere Campingplätze im Umkreis!
