We stayed here for a weekend. We had a great time. It really felt like a vacation. Delicious food, large patio. We had a spacious spot, just as we’d hoped. It’s just a shame we were parked in full sun; otherwise, I would have given it 4 stars. With a big dog in tow, some natural shade would have been nice...

This was our first camping trip with our new trailer, and I have to say we really enjoyed it. I liked the no-nonsense attitude—the rules are what they are, and that’s that. Other people might find this strict, but there have to be rules; otherwise, it would turn into a madhouse. I have to say, it really is the best bistro in the region. We did have to leave a day early due to circumstances, but they’ll see us again. Lots of love, Pamela and Brecht—thank you for the peace and quiet. See you soon!!!

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and were pleasantly surprised by the site we were assigned: clean, spacious, and right across from the restroom block. One note: there was no water hookup at our site, so you’ll need to go to the water tap or an empty RV site to fill up.

At the campground, you’ll find a pleasant mix of seasonal guests and short-term visitors, which creates a peaceful yet lively atmosphere. The restrooms deserve special praise. The restrooms and showers are super clean and in great condition, with well-maintained stalls and plenty of space. The only minor downside is the one euro you have to pay for a shower, but we do understand the operator’s perspective.

There’s plenty for the kids to do. The tractor that picks them up every day for a ride is a huge hit, and the swimming lake in front of the bistro, with its lovely sandy beach, is a real highlight. The bistro itself is also a great place to grab a bite to eat or enjoy steak night.

In short: a well-maintained campground with a beautiful lake, clean facilities, and a pleasant atmosphere. Ideal for families, with or without children. We’ll definitely be back.

Wij komen zeker terug.

We sat on the terrace by the water—a cozy and idyllic spot—which was perfect for a warm summer evening. We enjoyed some tasty drinks and a delicious ice cream sundae. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

We camped there for a week. We were assigned a spot right on the water. Unfortunately, there’s no sign anywhere saying you can’t swim in the “second” lake. There’s only a small section right at the entrance, directly in front of the restaurant, where everyone can stare at you. In the end, only my dog tested the water. The campsite (No. 1) was full of duck and goose droppings. Not just here and there... but literally one to three droppings per centimeter. At first we thought it was the dog park because there was so much poop. And a dead bird that we ended up cleaning up ourselves. After I was already ready to leave, we were assigned a slightly better spot. It would have been nicer with a motorhome. The food at the restaurant isn’t exactly cheap for what you get. One day we had all-you-can-eat ribs three times, but we had to force them down because there was so much BBQ sauce on them that it actually hurt our mouths. The three of us also had to share a bowl of fries, and the four of us had to share a salad. However, it was a very nice place to relax; the restrooms were very clean, and so were the showers. And for the kids, there was the man with the covered wagon, who drove across the campground twice a day.
