General information

The Modus Wellness 2 is reminiscent of a luxury hotel room with wonderful wellness facilities. The detached chalet is ground floor and suitable for 2 persons. The living-bedroom is warmly decorated and you will find a double bed, a sitting area with television, a bathtub, spacious shower, sink and sauna as well as a dining area and a kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator and filter coffee maker. Modus Wellness 2 has a separate toilet. There is no air conditioning in the chalet. You can park 1 car at the chalet and you can use the free wifi.

Your booked accommodation has a Comfort Package with extras! That means your beds are made upon arrival, there is a set of towels and kitchen towels, a bathroom set with slippers & a bathrobe and a coffee and tea package.

Please note, it is not possible to place a cot/camping bed in the accommodation.

    What a letdown this was—after two fantastic summer vacations and one fun weekend getaway, this stay was truly below par.
    We stayed here from August 17 through August 27 (so who knows what else might happen in the coming days)
    * The cottage was great—but that’s where the positives end.
    * Kids’ activities are practically nonexistent; … whereas the past two years featured excellent activity leaders, this year’s program is subpar. On two separate occasions, the scheduled activities didn’t happen (or started way too late). Even though they post the daily schedule on Instagram, it’s apparently very difficult to send out an update through the same channel.
    * Mini-golf is now a paid activity, but there’s hardly any maintenance
    * The pool is now a paid activity: 7.5€ per guest per stay.

    If this is the direction Europarcs Hoge Kempen has taken, it’s very sad.
    I’ve always enjoyed coming here, but this is most likely my last visit.

    Wat was dit een tegenvaller, na 2 top-zomervakanties en 1leuk weekendje was dit verblijf echt beneden alle peil.
    We verbleven hier van 17/8 tot en met 27/8 (dus wie weet wat komt er de komende dagen nog)
    * Huisje was top, daar houdt het dan ook op.
    * Kinderanimatie is quasi onbestaande, daar waar de vorige 2 jaar deze uitstekende animatrices waren, is het dit jaar ondermaats. Tot 2 maal toe blijft de geplande animatie achterwegen (of veel te laat). Terwijl er dagelijks via IG gepost wordt wat er gepland staat, is het blijkbaar zeer moeilijk om langs diezelfde weg een update uit te sturen.
    * minigolf werd betalend, maar onderhoud is er amper
    * zwembad werd betalend: 7,5€ per gast per verblijf.

    Als dit de weg is die Europarcs Hoge Kempen heeft ingeslagen, is dit zeer triest.
    Altijd graag gekomen, nu meer dan waarschijnlijk de laatste keer.
