    Fine, large and detached house with garden and views. Downside: it was freezing cold on arrival, few degrees and the final electricity bill is out of proportion.

    A quiet cottage on the outskirts of Houfalize, many conveniences nearby. Some peculiarities that struck us: - Upon arrival the cottage did not seem to have been thoroughly cleaned, the beds and living room chairs smelled of sweat. There was also some food residue in the drain and the toilet room smelled of urine. - Bring your own toilet roll and dishwasher cubes, these were not present upon arrival. - The cottage is located in a hunting area. We did not realize this until we walked to the cottage halfway through the stay, then the signs were clear. When we arrived in the dark the day before it was not readable. - The sauna is really a super good addition, especially after a day of hiking.

    Een rustig gelegen huisje aan de rand van Houfalize, vele gemakken dichtbijgelegen. Enkele bijzonderheden die ons opvielen: - Bij aankomst leek het huisje niet grondig schoongemaakt te zijn, de bedden en woonkamer stoelen roken naar zweet. Er was ook nog wat etensresten in het afvoerputje en de wc ruimte rook naar urine. - Neem je eigen wc rol en vaatwasser blokjes mee, deze waren niet aanwezig bij aankomst. - Het huisje ligt in een jachtgebied. We hadden dit pas door toen we halverwege het verblijf naar het huisje liepen, toen waren de borden duidelijk. Toen we de dag ervoor in het donker aankwamen was dat niet leesbaar. - De sauna is echt een supergoede toevoeging, zeker na een dag wandelen.

I go on vacation alone, and then sometimes it does get expensive. So for a weekend from Friday to Monday morning e.g. or Sunday evening this offer also applies?

    Dat hangt af van de kortingsbon. Op welk soort verblijf geldt deze €125? Voor een weekendverblijf, een midweek of langer? Want dat maakt wel wat uit voor mij. Ik ga alleen op vakantie, en dan wordt het soms wel duur. Dus voor een weekend van vrijdag tot maandagochtend bv of zondagavond geldt deze aanbieding ook?

    Cottage was fine and met expectations. It is very quiet in nature, you can start right away with the walking shoes on. With six adults to do fine. The kitchen and inventory of this was very extensive, much more present than for 6 people, so you can easily turn on the dishwasher. Also there are many basic things (wipes, polishes etc) present, very nice. The beds are fine the rented bed covers a mess no single set the same, but you are just sleeping under them anyway. The rooms are spacious enough and the sauna was very appreciated. The garden-especially the gravel-could be weeded, this would certainly enrich the view.

    Huisje was prima in orde en voldeed aan de verwachting. Het ligt heel rustig in de natuur, je kunt direct met de wandelschoenen aan starten. Met zes volwassen personen prima te doen. De keuken en inventaris hiervan was heel uitgebreid, veel meer aanwezig dan voor 6 personen, je kunt dus gemakkelijk de afwasmachine aanzetten. Tevens zijn er veel basisdingen (doekjes, poetsmiddelen enz) aanwezig, heel fijn. De bedden zijn prima de gehuurde bedovertrekken een rommeltje geen enkele set hetzelfde, maar je ligt er toch maar onder te slapen. De kamers zijn ruim genoeg en de sauna is zeer in de smaak gevallen. De tuin- met name het grind- kan wel eens onkruidvrij worden gemaakt, dit zou de aanblik zeker verrijken.

    Cottage was reasonably clean. Unfortunately still coffee from previous visitors in the coffee pot. Cottage was nicely pre-heated on arrival, super friendly owner. Very nice area and village nearby. Cozy cafes and restaurants. Tip, in strong freezing weather do not turn off heating completely at bedtime. The house was icy cold in the morning.

    Huisje was redelijk proper. Helaas nog koffie van de vorige bezoekers in de koffiekan. Huisje was lekker voorverwarmd bij aankomst, super vriendelijke eigenaar. Zeer mooie omgeving en dorpje dichtbij. Gezellige café's en restaurants. Tip, bij sterk vriesweer de verwarming niet volledig uitzetten bij het slapengaan. Het huis was ijzig koud smorgens.
