The cottage offers spacious bedrooms and an excellently equipped kitchen with extensive inventory, and many guests enjoy the sauna after a day of hiking. The property is generally clean and comfortable, although some visitors found remnants from previous guests upon arrival or experienced the bed linen as disappointing. Points for improvement are mainly the temperature upon arrival and in some cases the final cleaning details.

    Nice cottage with everything needed for a pleasant stay! One downside for us was the rented bedding ( thrift store quality) which, when we went to pick up the key in the town, we were given as a big pile of rags.

    Leuk huisje met alles wat nodig is voor een prettig verblijf! Eén minpuntje was voor ons het gehuurde beddengoed ( kringloop kwaliteit) dat we, toen we de sleutel in het stadje op gingen halen, als een grote stapel vodden mee kregen.

    A quiet cottage on the outskirts of Houfalize, many conveniences nearby. Some peculiarities that struck us: - Upon arrival the cottage did not seem to have been thoroughly cleaned, the beds and living room chairs smelled of sweat. There was also some food residue in the drain and the toilet room smelled of urine. - Bring your own toilet roll and dishwasher cubes, these were not present upon arrival. - The cottage is located in a hunting area. We did not realize this until we walked to the cottage halfway through the stay, then the signs were clear. When we arrived in the dark the day before it was not readable. - The sauna is really a super good addition, especially after a day of hiking.

    Een rustig gelegen huisje aan de rand van Houfalize, vele gemakken dichtbijgelegen. Enkele bijzonderheden die ons opvielen: - Bij aankomst leek het huisje niet grondig schoongemaakt te zijn, de bedden en woonkamer stoelen roken naar zweet. Er was ook nog wat etensresten in het afvoerputje en de wc ruimte rook naar urine. - Neem je eigen wc rol en vaatwasser blokjes mee, deze waren niet aanwezig bij aankomst. - Het huisje ligt in een jachtgebied. We hadden dit pas door toen we halverwege het verblijf naar het huisje liepen, toen waren de borden duidelijk. Toen we de dag ervoor in het donker aankwamen was dat niet leesbaar. - De sauna is echt een supergoede toevoeging, zeker na een dag wandelen.
