The luxury lodge there is stylishly decorated. Upon arrival, the beds are made and towels and toiletries are waiting for you. Enjoy the unique surroundings. The grounds on which the lodges are placed are currently still under construction. In contrast, our lodges inside are already as they should be: luxuriously and stylishly furnished.

Inside the lodge you will find a bedroom with a double bed. There is also a bathroom with shower and toilet. In the living area there is a dining table and a sitting area. Urban Gardens Ghent is strategically located close to the city centre, with excellent accessibility by bike (15 minutes) or bus (line 11). Guests appreciate the spacious pitches separated by hedges and the campsite's green character. Reception staff are experienced as friendly and helpful. The site is located in a recreational area with free access to a swimming lake and walking opportunities around the water. Renovation works are ongoing: new sanitary blocks are modern and clean, but older blocks urgently need refurbishment. Many visitors complain about muddy pitches after rain, noise pollution from the nearby motorway, and electrical hook-ups located too far away requiring extra-long cables.

    We were completely satisfied from start to finish. The service was excellent. Along with the booking, we consistently received information about the process, the campground, and how to get to the campground and the city of Ghent.
    Questions were always answered fully and immediately, including with the help of AI, which we found to be very … pleasant and customer-friendly.
    The campsites are sufficiently large.
    There is currently some construction taking place, but it didn’t bother us.
    They’re investing in the campground, and it’s expected that this will make it even more appealing.
    There’s a bus stop right next to the campground, with buses running to downtown every 15–20 minutes. Ghent’s city center is a feast for the eyes.
    The main street running nearby didn’t bother us.
    The restroom facilities were clean and of a very high standard.

    Von Anfang bis zum Ende waren wir vollkommen zufrieden. Der Service war hervorragend. Es gab zusammen mit der Buchung immer wieder Informationen über den Ablauf, den Campingplatz, die Anfahrt zum Platz und zur Stadt Gent.
    Auf Fragen würde immer und sofort vollumfänglich geantwortet, auch mit Hilfe von KI, die aber von uns als sehr angenehm und kundenfreundlich angenommen wurde.
    Die Stellplätze sind ausreichend groß.
    Zur Zeit finden ein paar Baumaßnahmen statt, die uns aber nicht gestört haben.
    Es wird in den Platz investiert und es ist zu erwarten, dass der Platz damit nicht interessanter wird.
    Unmittelbar im Bereich des Platzes befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle wo alle 20-15 Minuten ein Bus in die Innenstadt fährt. Gent Zentrum ist eine Augenweide.
    Uns hat die in der Nähe verlaufende Hauptstrasse nicht gestört.
    Der Sanitärtrackt war sauber mit einem sehr guten Standard.

    Super friendly staff, beautiful RV sites, and a great location. They’re busy renovating; it’s going to be really nice. The temporary bar is cozy and very affordable. The restrooms are new, nice, and clean. The bus service to beautiful Ghent is fantastic and costs €3.00. Highly recommended: a boat tour and Gravensteen Castle.
    We stayed here for 3 days, but we’ll definitely make a quick stop here again on the way back. In short: AWESOME!

    Super vriendelijke staff, mooie camperplekken en fijne locatie. Ze zijn druk aan het verbouwen; wordt heel mooi. Tijdelijke bar is gezellig en zeer betaalbaar. Sanitair is nieuw en mooi en schoon. Busverbinding naar het mooie Gent is fantastisch, kosten €3,00. Aanrader: boottochtje en Gravensteen.
    We waren hier 3 dagen, maar zijn op de terugweg nog even lekker een tussenstop hier. Kortom: SUPER!

    The campground is an oasis of peace and beauty, but what stands out most is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff—especially the receptionist, Soetkin.
    I was really impressed that, to help us out and hook us up to electricity, she walked all the way to our RV at 9:00 p.m., carrying a cable over her shoulder. She even hooked it up for us. That kind of service is 5-star. Soetkin, thank you so much.

    Me pareció impresionante que para satisfacernos y conectarnos a la electricidad se llegó andando hasta nuestra autocaravana a las 21h y cargado con un cable en el hombro. Además lo conecto. Un servicio así es de 5 estrella. Soetkin muchas gracias.

    We really enjoyed our stay at this campground. Good bus service to the city. Spacious sites, and the new restroom facility looks nice and practical. Friendly staff. Highly recommended for a city trip to Ghent.
