The luxury lodge there is stylishly decorated. Upon arrival, the beds are made and towels and toiletries are waiting for you. Enjoy the unique surroundings. The grounds on which the lodges are placed are currently still under construction. In contrast, our lodges inside are already as they should be: luxuriously and stylishly furnished.

Inside the lodge you will find a bedroom with a double bed. There is also a bathroom with shower and toilet. In the living area there is a dining table and a sitting area. Guests appreciate the spacious pitches separated by hedges and the campsite's green character. Reception staff are experienced as friendly and helpful. The site is located in a recreational area with free access to a swimming lake and walking opportunities around the water. Renovation works are ongoing: new sanitary blocks are modern and clean, but older blocks urgently need refurbishment. Many visitors complain about muddy pitches after rain, noise pollution from the nearby motorway, and electrical hook-ups located too far away requiring extra-long cables.

    Clean, tidy facilities, very helpful staff and only a 10 minute bus ride into Gent. Would definitely recommend this site if visiting the area.

    I was only there one night before heading home, but I really wanted to see the city!
    The location was great—even late at night, bus No. 11 was still running, taking me into the city center and back again later.
    The front desk staff were incredibly patient and friendly; I was even able to leave my ice pack there overnight. Despite staying in a container unit in the sweltering heat, everyone was kind.
    My only complaints: there was various trash lying around in my large, shaded spot—it had probably been thrown over the fence on the way to the water. And I didn’t find the washrooms and showers very inviting, but the toilet paper was great😁

    Ich war nur 1 Nacht vor meiner Heimreise da, wollte aber unbedingt noch die Stadt sehen!
    Dafür lag der Platz sehr gut, es gab auch spät abends noch den Bus Nr 11, der mich ins Zentrum brachte u später wieder zurück.
    Die Rezeption war total geduldig und nett, könnte meinen Gefrierakku über Nacht da lassen, trotz Behausung im Container mit großer Hitze waren alle freundlich.
    Bemängeln muss ich: auf meinem großen Schattenplatz lag diverser Müll, der wohl vom Weg zum Wasser über den Zaun geworfen wurde. Und die Wasch-und Duschräume fand ich nicht so einladend, aber Klopapier war Klasse😁

    We stayed here one night in our camper. A really beautiful spot surrounded by nature. Very nice restroom facilities. We didn't find the nearby road to be a nuisance. The free admission to the swimming lake was great, too.

    + Close to the city center and just 15 cents away on Line 11, a 30-minute ride. In the city center:
    + The spaces are large, and you’re surrounded by trees:

    - Located right next to an expressway. (traffic noise even at night) The seemingly idyllic setting on Google Maps is deceptive. Also, during our stay, a party boat was cruising up and down the river blasting loud music.
    - Some construction work that was still going on after 10 p.m.
    - Showers are limited to 6 minutes. This can be very tight when traveling with children. After that, you have to wait indefinitely until you can shower again, which leads to unnecessarily long wait times, especially during rush hour.
    - The restroom facility near us had only 2 showers (one of which was out of order) and 3 toilets.

    - Liegt direkt an einer Schnellstraße. (autolärm auch in der Nacht) Die scheinbare Idylle in Google Maps trügt. Außerdem fuhr bei unserem Aufenthalt ein Party Boot den Fluss auf und ab mit entsprechenden Lauter Musik.
    - Irgendwelche Bauarbeiten die auch noch nach 22 Uhr stattfanden
    - Duschen ist nur für 6min. Möglich, was mit Kindern sehr knapp werden kann. Danach muss man auf unbestimmte Zeit warten bis man wieder duschen kann, was gerade zur Rush Hour zu unnötig hohen Wartezeiten führt.
    - Das Sanitärhaus in unsere Nähe hatte nur 2 Duschen (eine wer out of Order) und 3 Toiletten.

    The sites are HUGE. Peace and quiet. Relaxation. Water and electricity on each site. Group 4 bathrooms and restrooms are currently being renovated. Plus, it’s perfectly connected to downtown Ghent, with bus 11 just 200 meters from the campground entrance. And the return trip is just as easy.
