This campsite is particularly valued for its beautiful location on the Ourthe river, surrounded by nature with excellent hiking and cycling opportunities. Guests praise the friendly, helpful Dutch owners who are always ready with tips and a chat. The spacious, secluded pitches with plenty of privacy and private water and electricity connections are frequently mentioned. However, the sanitary facilities are an important area for improvement: while described as clean, they are outdated and require more frequent cleaning, and the showers operate with tokens with varying water temperature and pressure.

Nice campground; coin-operated showers—admittedly a bit outdated and with a weak water pressure. Lots of dogs; fairly quiet during the day; friendly staff; several restaurants; located by a small river; near some charming towns. One downside: there’s a club or something nearby. It’s incredibly noisy well into the night. So it’s not ideal for a good night’s sleep! That’s why I’m giving the location 2 stars.

Vandaar locatie 2 sterren.

Friendly welcome and a nice little bar for a drink or a light snack. It’s really nice to have a campground right on the water. A larger restroom area would be nice, as would dishwashing stations, and it’s a shame that you have to pay 1 euro for a shower that isn’t worth 1 euro. If that weren’t the case, we would have loved to come back a second time.
