We only spent two nights here on way to Germany but wish it had been longer. Lovely campsite with river great for cooling dip. Great cycling along opposite side of river- and good swim spots downstream. Didn't have time to canoe down the river but it looked idyllic. Beer excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Great campsite, very quiet and relaxed even in May, very nice for a few days with family and bike or for hiking. The region is very quiet outside the main vacation periods.

Toller Campingplatz, auch im Mai sehr ruhig und entspannt, sehr nett für ein paar Tage mit Familie und Fahrrad oder zum Wandern. In der Region ist es außerhalb der großen Ferienzeiten sehr sehr ruhig.

The campsite is beautifully situated and large. There are two wash houses, only one of which had hot water during our stay. So we had to walk quite far to rinse and shower. The campsite was fully booked and there were only 3 showers for men and women. There was always a long queue every evening and the showers are also very small and there is virtually no storage space. There were countless mosquitoes on the lawn. My husband had at least 80 bites. After two days the mosquitoes were gone. Conclusion, the place is nice, but not worth another visit for me due to the wash house that cannot be used. Oh yes, there are no shady spots to be found on the large meadow.

Der Campingplatz ist schön gelegen und groß. Es gibt zwei Waschhäuser, davon bei unsere Aufenthalt , nur eines was über warmes Wasser verfügte. Wir mussten also zum Spülen und Duschen recht weit laufen. Es waren schon mehrere 100 Meter.Der Platz war voll belegt und es waren nur jeweils 3 Duschen für Männer und Frauen vorhanden. So war jeden Abend immer eine laaange Schlange davor.Die Duschen sind zudem sehr klein und es gibt so gut wie keine Ablagefläche. Auf der Wiese hielten sich unzählige Mücken auf. Mein Mann hatte mindestens 80Stiche. Nach zwei Tagen waren die Mücken weg. Fazit, der Platz ist zwar schön, durch das nicht zu benutzende Waschhaus, für mich eher keinen weiteren Besuch Wert. Ach ja, Schattenplätze sind auf der großen Wiese nicht zu finden.

Gorgeous place by the river. You can hear the birds 24/7. Everything is clean and well organized. Pity you can't charge your electric car. Swimming pool is great and warm and clearly hygienic (chlor). Place is safe for kids, dogs, wheelchairs. There are games you can use, you can order some bread. You can do your laundry here.
