    If guests must cancel their stay due to a pandemic, the stay can be rebooked to a later date at no charge. This rebooking is not limited in time. If guests have to cancel their stay for any other reason, they have the option of transferring the reservation to someone else free of charge. In case of no show, only the cleaning fee (€150) will be refunded.

    Therefore, there are no rates where cancellations can be made free of charge. If the bookers are forced to cancel, the park may look at a free rebooking, provided they still manage to re-rent the cancelled period.

    No, it's a car-free site. So you cannot drive up to the cabin to load or unload, but at each cabin there is an electric cargo bike that can be used to load and unload all the luggage.

  2. Are bicycles available at the accommodation?

    Next to each cabin there is a bike shed containing an electric cargo bike and two regular bikes.

  3. Are dogs welcome?

    Yes, dogs are welcome.

  4. Do you have to pay for the wellness?

    No, use of the wellness island is free. Guests can book the island every day of their stay for an hour and a half. For this purpose, a booking module will be forwarded on the day of arrival.

    On the wellness island you will find a sauna with panorama window, an outdoor shower with dump bucket, access to the swimming pond, a relaxation area with pizza oven and a water fountain. Special towels are provided in the cabin. You may enter the sauna with or without swimwear.

  5. Are products present in the kitchen?

    Yes, there are coffee beans, tea, oil, salt and pepper, and dishwasher tablets, among others.

  6. Are there any products present in the bathroom?

    Yes, shower gel and shampoo are provided. There is also toilet paper, a hair dryer and bath linens.

  7. Are you allowed to barbecue?

    Yes, and there is a Bastard barbecue at every cabin.

    Highly recommended! Everything was fine. The concept was absolutely right. It had been stressful weeks, and we both completely relaxed. The biggest surprise was the wellness island. We knew it was going to be fun, but not that we were going to love it that much. The breakfast baskets are also very delicious and fun made. Very nice that you can just stop by The Bakery and put on a vinyl while in the kitchen choosing what to drink. (I personally really liked that I could pour a glass of wine without paying for the whole bottle). Important tip for the hot tub: set up on time because it takes some time to get warm. Blessed experience. We really enjoyed it. Will definitely recommend and hopefully come back again.

    Echte aanrader! Alles was in orde. Het concept klopt helemaal. Het waren stressvolle weken geweest, en we zijn allebei volledig tot rust gekomen. De grootste verrassing was het wellnesseiland. We wisten dat het leuk ging zijn, maar niet dat we het zó geweldig gingen vinden. De ontbijtmandjes zijn ook heel lekker en leuk gemaakt. Heel leuk dat je gewoon langs The Bakery kan en een vinyl kan opzetten terwijl je in de keuken kiest wat je wilt drinken. (Ik vond het persoonlijk heel leuk dat ik een glaasje wijn kon uitschenken zonder de hele fles te betalen.) Belangrijke tip voor het bubbelbad: op tijd opzetten want het heeft wat tijd nodig om warm te worden. Zalige ervaring. We hebben er echt van genoten. Zal ik zeker aanraden en hopelijk nog eens terugkomen.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our unfortunately much too short time in our cabin. The hot tub, the wellness island, making a fire, riding the iconic cargo bike...all this made us really feel like we were on vacation in a very short time. We were completely away from it all and this close to home in a secret little paradise. We will definitely come back!

    We hebben enorm genoten van onze helaas veel te korte tijd in onze cabin. De hottub, het welness eiland, een vuurtje maken, ritje met de iconische bakfiets…dit alles maakte dat we op zeer korte tijd echt een vakantiegevoel hadden. We waren er even volledig tussenuit en dit vlak bij huis in een geheim paradijsje. We komen zeker terug!

    We had a short pre-Christmas stay with our two children (ages 2 and 5) at the Cabanes and it was FANTASTIC! The cottages are very comfortable and super well equipped. Especially the cargo bike you get at your disposal is a huge plus! This allows you to completely put the car aside for a few days and in no time you are on the beach, in the store and in the center of Ostend. We will definitely be back!

    Wij hadden een kort pre-kerst verblijf met onze twee kinderen (2 en 5 jaar) in de Cabanes en het was FANTASTISCH! De huisjes zijn heel comfortabel en super goed voorzien. Zeker de bakfiets die je ter beschikking krijgt, is een enorme meerwaarde! Hierdoor kan je de auto een paar dagen volledig aan de kant zetten en ben je op een mum van tijd op het strand, in de winkel en in het centrum van Oostende. Wij komen zeker nog terug!

    Beautiful cabins, equipped with everything you need. The included bikes are also very nice and convenient. Very nice kitchen and a blissful bed! We had a cabin with hot tub, seemed very nice, but getting the water to a pleasant temperature is just a bit trickier than it seems. Here you count quite some time for. Everything is done contacless where you can contact via whatsapp if needed. This too, very nice, only with us it took until night or even the morning after before our message was viewed and answered. That was unfortunate. Otherwise, it is a beautiful property with lots of fun things to explore! 😊

    Prachtige cabins, voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. De bijhorende fietsen zijn ook heel leuk en handig. Hele mooie keuken en een zalig bed! Wij hadden een cabin met hottub, leek ons heel fijn, maar het water op een aangename temperatuur krijgen, is juist wat lastiger dan het lijkt. Hier reken je best wel wat tijd voor. Alles gebeurt contacloos waarbij je via whatsapp contact kan opnemen indien nodig. Ook dit, heel leuk, alleen duurde het bij ons tot ‘s nachts of zelfs de ochtend nadien alvorens ons bericht bekeken en beantwoord werd. Dat was jammer. Voor de rest is het een prachtig domein met heel wat leuke dingen om te ontdekken! 😊
