dass es nicht benutzbar ist.
Ich habe dort nie Kinder
oder Erwachsene spielen
sehen.

einbringen kann. Als ich es
ansprach konnte man
plötzlich kein Englisch mehr
und die Rezeption sagte
dass man mit dem Verleih
nichts zu tun habe.

The campground is truly beautiful in terms of its natural setting. There are many large, tall trees that provide pleasant shade, and overall, the grounds are very green. The view of the cliffs and the sea is also particularly beautiful—for us, it’s definitely one of the biggest highlights. The connection to Pula is also a major advantage, since you can easily get into the city by bus. We paid €150 in advance to be able to choose our own campsite. This investment was definitely worth it for us, and we’d recommend it to anyone. That’s because there are some sites where a large tree stands right in the middle of the space, or that are so sloped that it’s hard to set up a trailer or tent straight. We really liked the barbecue area with the small herb garden. The idea of the bookshelf is also great: Campers can drop off books there, take some, and swap them with each other.
Unfortunately, there are also a few points of criticism. During our three-week stay, the streetlight near our campsite was broken, so we needed a flashlight to get to the washhouse.
Another issue is trash disposal. Especially in warm weather, the trash smelled very unpleasant. In our opinion, this could be avoided by emptying the bins more frequently. This is particularly bothersome for campsites located right next to the trash containers.
What disappointed us the most, however, was the cleanliness of the restroom facilities. Depending on the campsite, the layout of the restroom buildings also varies in quality. In our restroom building, for example, there were only three showers for men and three for women, so we regularly had to wait a long time. The showers themselves were not clean at any point during our entire stay. The sinks were also frequently dirty. It was particularly noticeable that certain stains on doors and other surfaces remained in exactly the same spots throughout our entire stay.
Of course, the cleanliness of a campground also depends on the guests. However, we got the impression that the cleaning staff, in particular, needed to step up their game. We observed on several occasions that the same rags were used to clean sinks, mirrors, and floors, which doesn’t seem particularly hygienic. At other campgrounds we visited during peak season—which were significantly busier—we found the restroom facilities to be much cleaner and better organized.
The staff at the front desk struck us as rather unmotivated and not very warm. In our experience, knowing English is an advantage, as communication can otherwise be a bit difficult.
On the other hand, we’d like to specifically highlight the gatekeeper at the entrance. He was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. He also spoke German very well, which made communication easy. He was a great help, especially during check-in and check-out and when we had questions, and he left us with a much more positive impression.

Overall, it’s a nice campground with room for improvement.

A large square—if that's your thing.

We stayed there with our RV for two weeks.

It was a real shock to find that the outdoor pool with the playground was still under construction.

To us, “Renovated 2026” meant the project was already completed, not “ongoing.” During the first week, the circular saw started up at 7:00 a.m.
It’s unclear when the work will be finished.

The restaurant was two spots away. We’d imagined conversations and the clinking of glasses when we booked, but in reality, the pump for a bouncy castle ran for up to 13 hours (until 10:00 p.m.). At our site, the noise level was estimated at 50 dB.

It wasn’t as luxurious as the category and price of the campsite would have led us to expect.

The campsite between us and the pump was reoccupied seven times over the course of two weeks. The people with the giant RV couldn’t move out of the way.

The restaurant on the campground was okay. Reasonable prices for average quality.

The opportunities for swimming and diving were great. We spent many days by the water.
We were able to launch the SUP quickly, too.

The restrooms were new, but very heavily used, since city residents are allowed to use the campground’s swimming facilities for free. Of course, the restrooms and showers are also used by them.
The resulting conditions—even if they were cleaned constantly for 22 hours a day—were unpleasant, especially compared to the usual conditions when only campground users are allowed.

By bus, for a small fee—if you’ve purchased a multi-ride pass—you can reach Pula in 20 minutes and have no trouble parking your car.

There’s a large supermarket nearby, easily accessible by car or, for the adventurous, by bike.

We’d love to come back once the construction is finished and we can park far enough away from the bouncy castle.

A really beautiful campground with modern and very clean restroom facilities. The restaurants and bars on-site are also highly recommended. There are wonderful spots for snorkeling all around the campground. A small supermarket with a good selection. It’s a 20-minute bike ride to the city center.
