I need to write a bit more here, I'm in two minds. My wife and I were here for a week in May 2025. Unfortunately, we still had to work remotely (including phone calls). But shortened work at the vacation destination is almost like a vacation. We informed Camping Park Umag of this in writing in advance and chose a pitch with the best 5G network. Everything worked great until a group of hedge trimmers suddenly came closer and closer to our site. The background noise could be heard accordingly. Now there were only 3 rows to us. I responded with an email to the head office and once again described our work on site. An employee of the site came and told us that he would talk to the people. Apparently all in vain. The next day they came to us and it was so loud that we had to break off 3 phone calls, even though all the windows were closed. I can say the following about the place: The site is very large and the pitches are also affordable depending on the time of year. The dog beaches are difficult, almost inaccessible and have too many rocks. The facilities are relatively few in May, but we didn't use them anyway. The main road on the site is very busy and unfortunately almost nobody keeps to the 20 km/h speed limit. I wouldn't want to let my children run around freely here. The registration was uncomplicated, but I had a strange experience ONE day before departure. I wanted to take the car to the fisherman in Novigrad. At the exit, the barrier didn't open. An employee who was there at the barrier came up to me. She checked my license plate number, looked it up on her cell phone and told me that I was leaving tomorrow and hadn't paid yet. I had checked out the previous afternoon and paid for my pitch. Even more annoyed (previously by the noise), I went to reception and paid my bill. I've never had anything like this anywhere, where you can't even take your car out. The caravan was still on the pitch😬🙈? Well, my conclusion for this place: Big and beautiful, but service and site regulations look different. Best regards from the Fuchs family who will NOT be returning.
