Some of the staff at the front desk are very unfriendly. The pitches are a good size, so you can easily find space for a 7.5-meter RV and trailer. Personally, I recommend a spot on the street right next to the wash house but closer to the beach. That way, everything works out perfectly. The campground itself is great, but the cleanliness of the wash houses leaves something to be desired. We’ve experienced much, much cleaner wash houses before, where two cleaning fairies worked nonstop from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. to keep everything sparkling clean. Here, the showers are rather unpleasant. On the other hand, Polari has a fantastic water park—kids of all ages will love it. It’s about 4.5 km to beautiful Rovinj, mostly on a gravel path along the coast. The path is shaded almost the entire way and easy to drive on. Every few hundred meters, you’ll pass a bar or a food stand, so it’s easy to make the trip even with kids. At Polari, you’re given silicone wristbands, and supposedly everything is digitized; however, access to the water park is open, and the staff only walk around sporadically to check that you’re wearing your wristband. You also can’t use the wristbands to pay. Even a scoop of ice cream for a hefty €2.70 on the promenade can only be paid for with a debit card.

Overall, we really liked Polari, with just a few minor complaints about cleanliness. We’ll definitely be back.

This was our second time there this year, and we were once again very satisfied. The staff are all very friendly. The campground and the restroom facilities are very clean and well-maintained. It’s really nice that there’s now a mini-golf course and an obstacle course. Our mobile home was also good, except that the cabinet handles were unfortunately already worn down—but that’s just nitpicking. Cleanliness is really excellent in the mobile homes. Kudos to the cleaning staff. We would definitely spend our vacations there again and again.

A very nice, large campground. A very nice pool area for all ages. Depending on the campsite, it’s more or less far from the ocean. The restroom facilities—which are always clean—and the very friendly staff at the information desk and in the restaurants deserve special mention; even the cleaning crew was always friendly. The entire campground is very clean. Everything is top-notch. Highly recommended.
