    We stayed at Porto Solo for 19 nights. We’d been here once before this year and were really disappointed this time around. The campsites are uneven and hard to access with a trailer. The restroom facilities are showing their age and really need to be renovated. On top of that, the cleaning staff doesn’t do a thorough job, and if there’s toilet … paper in the restroom, you’re lucky. I always had to bring my own. The electrical boxes are no longer safe at all, and there were frequent power outages. Bottom line: we won’t be coming back.

    Wir war 19 Nächte auf Porto Solo. Wir waren davor das Jahr schon mal hier und sind dieses Jahr echt enttäuscht worden. Die Campingplätze sind uneben und schwer mit einem Wohnwagen zu erreichen. Das sanitärhaus ist in die Jahre gekommen und müsste mal erneuert werden. Noch dazu putzt die Putzfrauen auch nicht sauber ,und wenn man Toilettenpapier im WC hat kann man sich glücklich schätzen. Ich musste immer mein eigenes mitnehmen. Die stromkästen sind überhaupt nicht mehr sicher und es gab immer wieder Stromausfall. Fazit wir werden nicht mehr wieder kommen.

    This was our first time at the Porto Sole campground, and overall we were very satisfied. The staff at the campground (whether at the front desk, the bakery, the produce stand, etc.) are very friendly. Our campsite was nice and spacious and very easy to access with our RV (7.5 meters long). Although the campground is relatively large and was quite … busy, we found the atmosphere to be very relaxed and pleasant. A big plus for us as divers is the excellent on-site dive center.
    Access to the sea is great, and there are plenty of sunbathing areas with lots of space (since we were traveling with a dog, having enough space was important to us).
    The port of Vrsar is within easy walking distance, with a variety of dining options, and shopping is easily accessible by bike (the supermarket on the campground is relatively expensive).
    The only downside: Sanitary buildings 2 and 3 were, unfortunately, not very clean. The showers, in particular, weren’t really cleaned well! That needs to be addressed urgently!!
    The new restroom building 1 at the diving center, on the other hand, was very clean (that’s how all the buildings should look in terms of cleanliness), but it was too far away from our campsite.

    Overall, it was a very nice stay, and we’ll definitely be back.

    Wir waren das erste Mal auf dem Campingplatz Porto Sole und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Personal auf dem Platz (egal ob Rezeption, Bäcker, Gemüsestand usw.) ist sehr freundlich. Unser Stellplatz war schön groß und mit unserem WoMo (7,5 Meter lang) super anfahrbar. Obwohl der Platz relativ groß ist und gut besucht war, haben wir den Platz als sehr entspannt und angenehm empfunden. Großer Pluspunkt für uns als Taucher ist die sehr gute, angegliederte Tauchbasis.
    Zugang zum Meer ist super, Liegeflächen ausreichend vorhanden und mit viel Platz (da wir mit Hund unterwegs waren, war uns genug Platz wichtig).
    Der Hafen von Vrsar ist fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar, mit diverser Gastronomie, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar (der Supermarkt auf dem Platz ist relativ teuer).
    Einziger Negativpunkt: Die Sanitärhäuser 2 und 3 waren leider nicht sehr sauber. Vor allem die Duschen wurden nicht wirklich gut gesäubert! Da müsste dringend nachgearbeitet werden!!
    Das neue Sanitärhaus 1 an der Tauchbasis hingegen war sehr sauber (so sollten alle Häuser von der Sauberkeit her aussehen), von unserem Stellplatz aus aber zu weit weg.

    Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
