Camping Valkanela is beautifully situated on a bay with crystal-clear water and offers modern, well-maintained sanitary facilities that are constantly kept clean. Guests appreciate the spacious pitches, swimming pools, and restaurants, as well as the friendly staff. However, complaints are regularly made about the high prices of food, drinks, and extra services at the park, and some visitors experience noise disturbances from music and parties late into the night. There are also complaints about crowding at reception and long waiting times during check-in.

We booked a Premium Mobile Home. In the photos, it looks a lot bigger and more modern than it actually is. The floor plan is accurate, but otherwise the whole thing is misleading. The rooms are of lower quality than shown and much smaller; the bathroom is the same. There are hardly any places to hang up bath towels. The outdoor clothesline is … nice, but it’s TOO SMALL for a family of four. It’s also at least a 15-minute walk to the beach. So it’s NOT DIRECTLY on the beach.
The floors in the mobile homes are dirty; you’d expect them to at least wipe them down with a damp cloth after each guest.
I find it outrageous that you have to pay for the lounge chairs by the large pool (€20 for 2 chairs per day).
So, for over 2,500€ (12 nights), I expect more than what’s offered here. Too bad.
The only positive thing is that the service works when using the app.this is a translation, click here for the original
Also KEINE DIREKTE Strandlage.
Schade.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the campsite—we had a very awkward spot with no shade at all. The restroom facilities were cleaned frequently by the nice cleaning ladies, but unfortunately they were very run-down, and four restrooms are far too few; we had to wait in line every morning. The worst part, unfortunately, was the noise that … went on well into the night—with teenagers shouting, cars driving back and forth until late at night, people starting to pack up as early as 5 a.m., and the leaf blower going off at 4:22 a.m. Music blaring from two sides all night long—these were anything but restful nights! On the positive side, the staff at the grocery store were always friendly, and the rolls and croissants in the morning were great. And the staff at the seaside restaurant were remarkably friendly!! We found the value for money a bit too expensive. The bay by the sea was very beautiful, but because of the noise that lasted until the early morning, we wouldn’t go back to this campground!

Perfect campground.
Lovor Real Grill has great food and extremely friendly service.
My little daughter accidentally spilled her drink right away, and the friendly waiter immediately brought her a free replacement without her even asking.
We’d love to come back here 😊this is a translation, click here for the original
