Summary created out of 150 reviews
Camping de Regenboog is a spacious campsite with extra large pitches (often 100-200m²) and wide views, located on the edge of the village of Šluknov. Guests appreciate the friendly Dutch owners, the clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities, and the stable wifi coverage across the entire site. The campsite offers plenty of activities for children, including a playground, trampoline, water play area and animation programs. The location is ideal as a base for hiking and cycling in Bohemian Switzerland and the surrounding natural areas, with free public transport cards available for multi-day guests. Points of attention include the limited shade on many pitches, the short shower time with tokens (3 minutes), and the water quality of the adjacent lake which is described as disappointing.

We stayed here for 6 nights with our camper. The campground was well-maintained. We had a nice lawn as our camping spot.
There are tons of activities organized for children. The entertainment team offers activities for both young children and teens (12+). In addition, there was a campfire every evening where children and teens gathered, and the youth club was also a big hit. Our children weren’t bored for a single moment.
We ate at the restaurant once, and we had no complaints.
One downside, however, was that when you ate there, the smell of the sewer was very noticeable.
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
The showers are a bit on the cramped side, especially for taller people. They use shower tokens. At first, we thought one token would be far too few, but thanks to the pause button, one token ended up being more than enough.
There are washing machines available. Make sure you always add something extra to the machine, otherwise it will stop. That’s a bit unclear and was explained to us by campers who had already experienced it.
There are plenty of opportunities to do your dishes.
At 10:00 PM, you’re expected to be as quiet as a mouse. We found this to be pleasant.
The campground lists a swimming pond/swimming area as an amenity. Personally, we didn’t find this to be a plus. The water smelled unpleasant, didn’t look clean, and there’s hardly any space to lie down comfortably or sunbathe. That’s why we went to a swimming pool about a half-hour drive away.
All in all, a nice campground for families with children of all ages. Our kids were really sad that we had to leave after a week. A good sign.this is a translation, click here for the original

Warning🚨 This is a distinctly Christian campground. That’s not necessarily a problem, though—it might just come as a surprise to the average camper.
Activities such as children’s worship and singing songs are held here. But the staff is welcoming if you choose to participate.
There’s plenty of space, and the campground itself is very nice, with very spacious sites.
However, the adjacent lake isn’t very pretty.
You can buy inexpensive beer and a variety of food. It’s generally very quiet in the evenings.
But Boas de Beer is the best guy there.this is a translation, click here for the original

A beautiful campground with an adjacent lake, though unfortunately it’s not really suitable for swimming. You should be aware that this is a very Christian campground where church services and other Christian events take place, though you’re not required to participate. It’s well-suited for children, and there’s an entertainment program in the summer. The restroom facilities are clean and well-maintained.

A very religious campground with Bible readings and prayer before the BBQ. It’s located at the top of a treeless mountain with no shade.
I attended two events—a BBQ evening and a beer tasting—but unfortunately, they hadn’t put much thought into either of them.
The restrooms were clean, but there’s only one restroom area for all the guests, which is very few.
Lots of children at the campground.
Definitely not the most beautiful part of the Czech Republic.this is a translation, click here for the original

A very nice campground with plenty of activities for all ages. Lots of space to run and play. Bread delivery service, a small kiosk, playgrounds, a fire pit, and soccer and volleyball fields. The restrooms were cleaned twice a day. The staff was also very friendly. I highly recommend it.
