A short distance from Skovly Camping are two special excursions that together provide a beautiful picture of local history and culture. About 4 kilometers away is the Tram Museum Skjoldenæsholm, where you can view historical trams and buses and, during certain periods, even take a ride. About 9 kilometers away is Sct. Bendts Church in Ringsted, an impressive medieval church known for its royal tombs and its important role in Danish history. Both places are easy to reach for a short day trip during your stay. A campground with lots of permanent or seasonal sites, among which you’ll be staying as a short-term guest. Its central location in Zealand is a plus. The restrooms are outdated but usually clean. The bread delivery service is great. There don’t seem to be enough showers for peak season, but we didn’t have to wait in early September. Good and … sufficient indoor dishwashing and cooking areas. The camping sites aren’t very large.

Camping met heel veel vaste of seizoensplaatsen waartussen je als kort verblijver staat. De centrale ligging in Seeland is pluspunt. Sanitair verouderd maar meestal netjes. Broodjesservice is prima. Douches lijken wat weinig voor hoogseizoen, maar hebben niet hoeven wachten, begin september. Goede en voldoende indoor afwas en kookplaatsen. Staplaatsen zijn niet groot.
