Le Velay Express

Les Voies Ferroviaires de Velay (VFV) is a historic railroad in the region of Le Puy-en-Velay. The Castle of Rochebaron

A half-hour drive from the campground, atop a rocky hill, lies one of the best-preserved castles in the region. The castle has a rich history dating back to the 12th century, and much of its original architecture and furnishings have been preserved. Today, you can visit Rochebaron Castle, and the 2 museums found inside, and discover how the inhabitants lived back then. It is a popular tourist attraction and in the summer the impressive birds of prey shows that are given make a visit extra special.
