Reception:
We booked for two nights at the end of July—it’s safer that way. A large parking lot can accommodate any type of vehicle. We were given a choice of several sites.
The sites:
The sites are clearly marked, flat, and spacious. Electricity hookups are nearby, and there are water spigots along the aisles.
The … surroundings:
The campground is wooded; there isn’t much else around, but it’s not far from Walibi Park, and the small town of Les Abrets isn’t far either.
Water facilities:
It’s a very nice pool, perfectly maintained; the indoor pool allows you to enjoy it even when the weather is cooler. There are plenty of chairs and lounge chairs.
Restrooms:
A large restroom block is located in the middle of the campground in a nice building; there’s another one that’s older but still well-maintained; and a third prefabricated “Vulcain”-style unit that’s very nicely arranged. We’d like to highlight the impeccable maintenance—we even complimented the young man who was cleaning because he put so much heart into his work! There are soap dispensers and paper towels.
Restaurant, service, entertainment:
The campground holds the “C’est si bon” certification; many people come here just for the restaurant, which has a good reputation—it’s even best to make a reservation. We enjoyed it, even if it wasn’t the best meal we’ve ever had. We found the prices a bit high—for example, we were shocked that the white wine served in a carafe was warm. On the other hand, the ice cream sundaes are truly incredible!
In the summer, there’s evening entertainment and a playground for kids.
We liked:

L'accueil:
Nous avons réservé pour 2 nuits en cette fin juillet c'est plus prudent. Un grand parking permet de garer n'importe quel type de véhicule. On nous laisse le choix entre plusieurs emplacements.
L'emplacement :
Les emplacements sont bien délimités, plats et spacieux. L'électricité n'est pas très loin et on trouve des points d'eau dans les allées.
L'environnement:
Le camping est arboré, il n'y a pas grand chose autour, ce n'est pas très loin du parc Walibi, la petite ville des Abrets n'est pas très loin non plus.
Espaces aquatiques:
C'est une très belle piscine, parfaitement entretenue, le bassin couvert permet d'en profiter aussi quand la saison est plus fraîche. Il y a un nombre suffisant de chaises et transat.
Les sanitaires :
Un gros bloc se trouve au milieu du camping dans un joli bâtiment, un autre plus ancien mais néanmoins entretenu et un troisième de type Vulcain préfabriqué qui est très joliment arrangé. Nous soulignons l'entretien irréprochable, nous avons même félicité le jeune qui nettoyait tant il mettait du cœur à l'ouvrage ! Il y a des distributeurs de savon et du papier.
Restaurant, service, animation:
Le camping est porteur du label "C'est si bon", de nombreuses personnes viennent ici juste pour le restaurant qui a une bonne réputation, il est même préférable de réserver. Nous avons aimé même si ce n'est pas le meilleur que l'on ait fait. Le tarif nous a semblé élevé, le vin blanc en carafe servi chaud nous a par exemple choqué. En revanche les coupes de glaces sont vraiment incroyables !
En été il y a des animations le soir et il y a un parc de jeux pour les enfants.
On a aimé :
Un camping tranquille entre campagne et montagne.
