Surroundings

Châtillon-en-Diois
Located on the banks of the Bez River and surrounded by mountains and forests, this charming village is known for its charming medieval architecture, narrow, winding streets, and as a stop on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. The village's rich history dates back to Roman times. Also, visit the local wineries and sample regional cuisine with specialties such as ravioli and Clairette de Die.

Discover regional specialties
Not to be confused with Italian ravioli, raviole is a specialty of the historic Dauphiné region. It dates back to Roman times. Saint-Marcellin is a soft, aged cheese that originated the town of Saint-Marcellin of the same name. The cheese is widely used in salads and goes well with a glass of Côtes du Rhône. And so there are many more delicacies that you really must taste.
Vercors Regional Park
Parc du Vercors, the regional natural park located above the campground, is a protected area covering more than 200,000 hectares. The park includes the Vercors massif, a rugged mountain range known for its gorges, limestone cliffs and high plateaus. With a diversity of flora and fauna, including rare species such as the griffon vulture, the ibex and the European beaver, Parc du Vercors is an ideal destination for beautiful hikes and bike rides. Discover the park's history and culture through museums, exhibitions and guided tours. The park is also known for its traditional agriculture and crafts, such as cheese making and wood carving, which have been preserved and celebrated by local communities for generations.
Explore the surroundings with the family
Just 20 km from the campsite you will find the medieval village of Crest. Climb Crest Castle, one of the highest medieval castles in France, for stunning views of the surroundings and interesting history. For an educational outing, visit "Jardin des Decouvertes," an interactive garden in Die, just 25 km from the campground. Here children learn about plants, insects, and other animals through various educational activities and workshops for children of all ages. For a fun and exciting activity in the Diois region, visit the Drôme Aventure adventure park just 10 km from the campground. The park offers various climbing routes and zip lines for children as young as 3 years old.

Beautiful view, but unfortunately our stay was disappointing. Several things in the cottage were broken, and it wasn’t very clean. At the restaurant, too, there were long wait times, and not everything on the menu was available. We politely reported our complaints, but unfortunately received no response or apology. Communication was difficult because very little English was spoken. We assume the issues will be resolved, but for a 4-star campground, we clearly expected more.

I have mixed feelings about our stay (15 days). The staff is very friendly, cheerful, and polite, which is really appreciated.
On the other hand, our site was particularly noisy. We were right next to the front desk, with a constant stream of golf carts and vacationers passing by right outside our mobile home. Cars were coming and going at all hours. We even came back one night around 3 a.m. and were able to open the gate without any trouble. Some guests were also talking very loudly during the night.
We also encountered several issues inside the mobile home. The water heater kept freezing up, and the refrigerator had a hard time staying cold. We reported these problems via the app, but we never heard back. Finally, the box spring was really uncomfortable and, above all, extremely noisy. We didn’t even dare move in bed because it creaked and cracked so much. A technician came and simply placed a wedge under one of the box spring’s legs. Since the problem persisted, we pointed out the noise to him. He then told us he would have the bed frame replaced, but he never came back! In short, it was a very bad experience, and yet I’m not even a demanding person.this is a translation, click here for the original

We just got back from a two-week family vacation. The campground was great. The lake is clean, and the staff are fantastic and very friendly. The restaurant comes highly recommended. All the dishes are delicious.
Two areas for improvement: the shower in the mobile homes (it takes several minutes to get the water to a comfortable temperature—it gets cold quickly) and the wait time at the restaurant.
I recommend this campground.
Thank you for our stay.this is a translation, click here for the original

On vacation with just my two sons, this trip was a total success. The warm welcome from all the staff, the restaurant, and especially the entertainment deserve special praise in this idyllic setting.
This undoubtedly reflects a management team that is both dedicated and very approachable.
Thank you to everyone—we’ll be back!this is a translation, click here for the original

Favorite Spot ❤️
We had a wonderful vacation at Camping du Lac Bleu! 💙
The setting is breathtaking: a true oasis of greenery nestled among the mountains—a complete change of scenery, peaceful, and magnificent… You immediately feel like you’re in a different world.
We were also lucky enough to have an ideal spot, with a superb view and the beach practically at our feet. Pure bliss!
Not to mention that the region is brimming with things to discover!
💫 A great entertainment team
As regular campers, we’d never met such a dynamic, dedicated, and endearing team.
Great energy all week long 🔥. Our 10-year-old daughter also had a blast, whether at the kids’ club or during activities and shows.
Friendly staff, a responsive technical team: a problem we reported in our bungalow was fixed within half an hour! The food was great.
Special shout-out to the manager 🎖️
Welcoming, approachable, and dedicated. He’s there for both his guests and his team—which is rare.
In short, we felt a genuine commitment from everyone to ensure we had an excellent stay.
The only minor downside: the bungalow could use a bit more storage space, and having lifeguards on duty would be a plus.
To sum it up, we had an amazing week in a beautiful setting, with a team that truly makes all the difference. We left with our hearts full of wonderful memories and just one desire: to come back!
A big thank you to the entire team for this vacation 🙏
P.S.: By the way, when I read some of the negative comments, I find it hard to believe we were on vacation at the same place!this is a translation, click here for the original
On s’y sent immédiatement ailleurs.

Hello—on the plus side, the view was nice, and the shows and entertainment were enjoyable. Now for the negatives: at the restaurant, we were disappointed that there was no pizza chef on staff; the service left a lot to be desired; the staff wasn’t very friendly; the foot bath and pool weren’t clean
As for the mobile home, it was infested with flies and ants; there was no dishwasher or laundry facilities. The cleaning of the mobile home also left much to be desired; there was no internet connection, and the campground’s maintenance needs improvement.this is a translation, click here for the original
