This holiday park in Taninges is praised for its exceptionally friendly staff and beautiful location amid the mountains. Guests appreciate the spacious, flat and often shaded pitches in a park-like setting with mature trees. The campsite offers tranquility and a relaxed atmosphere, with direct access to walks along the river and to the lake. The sanitary facilities are dated but consistently kept clean, and the affordable rates make it an excellent value for money for a stay in Haute-Savoie.

No WiFi, no 4G for us, but satellite OK.
Short walk into village and got WiFi from tourist info office.
    Great friendly efficient staff.
Our pitch was a little small (for our 7.8M motorhome).
Toilets have seats, but no paper, no soap nor hand drying.
Spectacular location lots to see and do in the surrounding area.
Baguette service etc each morning from reception.

We stayed at this campground with high expectations, as we camp regularly and enjoy this type of accommodation. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.

We had reserved two adjacent sites, but upon arrival, we were assigned separate ones. Yet the staff knew we were traveling together and, despite a two-night reservation, made no effort to place us side by side the next day.

The showers are in poor condition and the door locks are defective, which is unacceptable for a campground.

The facilities are old and clearly lack maintenance. The only positive aspect is the location, which is convenient for activities in the area.

We go camping very often—several times a year—so we have plenty of points of comparison. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this campground, and we don’t recommend it.

Please note: this is a municipal campground—we had overlooked that.

Pitches vary. We were offered a very shady spot, which we tried to switch, but due to high occupancy, that wasn’t possible. Fair enough, but it’s strange when another visitor does get a different spot within an hour.

The restrooms really need an update; those in the main building are acceptable, but the ones in the outbuildings are really “not up to par.”

The entire campground could use a refresh.

The biggest drawback was the drug use (hashish) by one of the regular guests. The hashish fumes hung like a blanket over part of the campground from 3 p.m. until 5 or 6 a.m. the next morning. Several guests complained about it, but the issue wasn’t resolved.
After a few warnings, removal from the campground seems to me to be the best option (for the record: hashish is prohibited in France, including recreational possession and use)
If you want to get high for free, this is the place for you.

Not worth repeating, though perhaps as a quick stopover (for which you can use municipal campgrounds)

Great campground! Great location. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. The two guys who run it are super friendly and professional. And thanks for the local beer—it was really good. The best Only Camp I know. I’d love to come back.

I was there for Stage 15 of the 2026 Tour de France on the Plateau de Solaison. The campground is a 2-star site, a former municipal campground that is now managed by OnlyCamp. I thought everything was wonderful: reservations, etc.—everything went smoothly; the restrooms were simple but in good condition. Very nice sites with mature trees and plenty of space. The town isn’t far away either.
Good 5G reception. I’d definitely be happy to return.

Guter 5G-Empfang. Auf jeden Fall immer wieder gerne.
