General information

The Joert offers a unique and sustainable way to stay in the green Ardèche. This traditional Mongolian tent is set on a spacious, grassy spot, either sunny or shaded, and blends perfectly into the natural landscape by the river. The joert has a surface area of 26 m² and is hand-painted. Some versions are lined with sheep's wool felt and cotton, others with more modern canvas. Inside you’ll find one atmospheric living space with a double bed and, depending on the model, an extra single bed. The interior is warm and simple, with floor cushions, carpets, and a small dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge with freezer, hob, microwave, coffee maker, and tableware. Electricity is available. For sanitary facilities, you use the amenities on the campsite. Outside, sun loungers and garden furniture are ready for you. The view over the river and mountains completes the picture.

You can bring up to two pets for an additional fee. Your vehicle can be parked at the accommodation; charging an electric car is not allowed here. Sleeping in a joert means being closer to nature, spending every night under a starry sky.

    In case of late arrival or early departure compared to the reserved dates, no refund will be given. In the event of cancellation, the amounts paid remain the property of the campsite.

    If you subscribe to NEAT CAMPING Cancellation Insurance, you are guaranteed reimbursement up to: • 100% with proof (medical reason, death, accident, etc.) • 70% without proof (deductible €15) – see the conditions on our site • Also included: reimbursement for a replacement vehicle, veterinary expenses, reimbursement for lost/forgotten items, free travel modification. If you have not taken out cancellation insurance, in the event of cancellation of your stay before arrival, interruption of your stay or late arrival and whatever the cause, illness, accident or unforeseen event, you will be required to pay the balance of the booking and no refund will be given. In the event of cancellation by Camping Ushuaïa Villages Le Viaduc, except in cases of force majeure, the stay will be fully refunded. However, this cancellation cannot give rise to the payment of damages. The legal dispositions related to withdrawals on on-line sales do not apply to tourist services (article L.121-20-4 from the French Consumer Code).     A wonderful experience in a yurt—very comfortable—camping in the middle of nowhere, with beautiful spots along the river, absolute tranquility, lush greenery, and well-suited for children as well; the food was excellent... not to mention the absolutely charming owners, who went out of their way to ensure our stay went smoothly...

    Getting there is a bit of a hassle since there’s only one narrow road leading to the campground, but that’s not their fault. The accommodations are unique and well-equipped. It’s a good value for the money. The restrooms are clean, despite a few inconsiderate people who, as is the case everywhere, don’t respect the facilities. The welcome is warm and friendly, and the staff is very responsive. We were there for one night but ended up staying a second one. There’s a playground for kids, a river, a grocery store, and a pétanque court... The staff is unobtrusive but efficient. The only downside is that the campsites—which may be relatively new—lack greenery to separate them, but apparently that’s being worked on. I highly recommend it.

    L'accès est un peu laborieux car une seule route étroite mène au camping, mais ce n'est pas leur faute. Les hébergements sont insolites et et bien équipés. Le rapport qualité prix est bon. Les sanitaires sont propres malgré quelques égoïstes qui comme partout ne respectent pas. L'accueil est chaleureux et agréable et la réactivité est excellente. Nous y étions pour une nuit et finalement nous avons succombé à en passer une seconde. Aire de jeux pour enfants, rivière, épicerie, pétanque... Le personnel est discret mais efficace. Le seul bémol est que les emplacements peut être récents manquent de verdure de séparation mais c'est en cours apparemment. Je conseille, je recommande.

    I highly recommend this campground if you’re looking for peace and a relaxed lifestyle 🙏
    The welcome here is extremely warm; Stéphanie and Olivier (the managers) are unfailingly kind and always there to help👏
    There’s a wide variety of accommodations with beautiful sites, and the restrooms are always clean and in perfect working order.
    The river is nearby, with easy access right next to the campground—it’s a great spot to cool off and even take a dip.
    The campground has a dining service that’s highly appreciated and definitely worth recommending—it’s excellent👍👏 Kudos to the chefs!
    A relaxation area is now available at this campground; I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ll be back 😘
    Not to mention the 🐕 adorable puppy who loves to be petted.

    Les hébergements sont nombreux et variés avec de très beaux emplacements, les sanitaires, toujours propres et en parfait état de fonctionnement.
    La proximité de la rivière avec accès facile et proche du camping est très agréable pour se rafraichir et même se baigner .
    Il y à sur ce camping un service de restauration, très appréciable et tout à fait recommandable, très bon👍👏 bravo les cuisiniers !
    Un espace détente est maintenant disponible sur ce camping, je ne l'ai pas testé mais je reviendrai 😘
