Guests particularly appreciate the friendly staff and warm welcome, regularly described as helpful and hospitable. The location near Chambéry and the lake is considered ideal, with plenty of walking and cycling opportunities nearby. The spacious pitches and excellent children's play area with equipment, bouncy castle and trampoline make the park popular with families. Points for improvement include the sanitary facilities, which could be cleaner and better maintained, and the lack of a swimming pool or good swimming option.

A campground with spacious sites; the mobile homes are functional and equipped with air conditioning.
Upon our arrival, a staff member guided us to our site and gave us a tour of the mobile home, explaining how the air conditioning and the dog safety gate work, among other things.
There are reminders about conserving natural resources, and when you report a “leak,” they come quickly to check it out and fix it. It turned out that our “leak” was actually the air conditioning’s overflow drain, which is normal.
On Mondays, there’s a guided hike around the campground that lets you “visit Challes” and start heading toward Mont Saint-Michel. The tour guide is very knowledgeable, and the tour is well worth taking.
There are many hiking trails around the campground, and the staff is happy to offer advice.
Also worth noting are the themed meals—the ribs and potatoes are definitely worth trying.this is a translation, click here for the original

A 4-star campground on paper. Not very well maintained; the restrooms are very basic.
It’s a good base for a one- or two-night stay to visit Chambéry. There’s a bus stop near the campground.this is a translation, click here for the original
Campeggio sulla carta a 4 stelle. Poco curato, bagni molto scarni.

It’s a family campground, but I’d recommend it for families with children ages 3 to 7. For younger children, the play equipment is a bit too big, and for older children, there’s a risk that the activities offered won’t be stimulating enough. As for the restrooms, there are two areas—an old one and a newer one. Needless to say, the old one is hardly used at all, as evidenced by the numerous cobwebs high up on the walls. In the new shower area, there’s a “sink” for small children, but it only dispenses cold water. The waste disposal stations for RVs are located near the old restrooms, and the waste disposal “tower” has only one usable faucet out of two; the flush for gray water isn’t working.
Positive points: The sites are spacious, with convenient water and electricity hookups; the bar service is very good; and the staff is always helpful. The campground is well-connected by public transportation to downtown Chambéry, which can be reached in about 30 minutes.this is a translation, click here for the original
