General information

This 30 m² mobile home has a practical layout with a bright living area and television. In the living room, there is a sofa bed that can be used as an extra sleeping place. The kitchen is equipped with cooking hobs, a microwave, Senseo machine, fridge with freezer compartment, and a dishwasher. Thanks to the reversible air conditioning and heating, it remains comfortable inside all year round. Duvets and pillows are provided, and sheets can be optionally booked. The bathroom has a shower and there is a separate toilet.

Outside, there is a terrace with an outdoor table where you can eat together or relax in the open air. Depending on the type of mobile home, the accommodation has an integrated terrace or a straight terrace. Parking is available at a parking space near the accommodation.

    The customer can request a change to their stay at the same campsite (dates, type of accommodation). Notwithstanding the fact that the full remaining amount must be paid before departure, any change at the customer's request is possible and change fees may apply. Any request for a change must be confirmed in writing by the customer and is subject to availability and acceptance by Family Camping le Savoy. If the contract holder wishes to extend their stay, the applicable rate will be applied. Any change by you from a higher to a lower category does not give rise to any refund.

    • Any request to shorten the duration of your stay is considered as a partial cancellation and is subject to the conditions for cancellation and interruption of the stay.

    • Any request from the CUSTOMER to change or cancel the STAY must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to Family's Camping Le Savoy. The periods mentioned below take effect from the date of receipt of this letter, with the date of the postmark serving as proof. The cancellation or change of the STAY does not give rise to any refund; we recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to cover any cancellation. ‍

Family's Camping Le Savoy is located in Challes-les-Eaux, at the foot of the Alps and close to Chambéry.     Well located campsite, nice pitches, friendly staff, good facilities for children but no hot water!! neither in the showers, nor the toilets, nor for washing up. Shocking for a 4-star campsite. This campsite has a wheelchair ramp but no handrail on the ramp: not practical for people who need it, nor for children who fall. Grey water discharge not very practical (not easy to access, no handle on the toilet discharge hatch, horizontally twisted flush tap: you have to hold your toilet cassette up to flush it.) Practical clarification: this campsite is not guarded at night: drunks have a field day until 2am. This must be a regular occurrence, as you'll be given the gendarmerie's number on the back of the barrier's entry code !!!! So the problem is well known !!!! this campsite doesn't deserve more than 4 stars, in my opinion.

    Camping bien situé, beaux emplacements, personnel sympathique, beaux équipements pour les enfants mais sans eau chaude !! ni dans les douches, ni les cabinets de toilette, ni pour la vaisselle. C'est choquant pour un 4 étoiles. Ce camping dispose d'une rampe pour fauteuil roulant mais pas de main courante sur cette rampe : pas pratique pour les personnes qui en ont besoin, ni pour les chutes des enfants. Vidange des eaux grises pas très pratique ( pas facile d'accès, pas de poignée sur la trappe de vidange wc, robinet de rinçage tordu à l'horizontal : il faut maintenir en l'air sa cassette wc pour la rincer.) précision pratique, ce camping n'est pas gardé la nuit : les ivrognes s'en donnent à cœur joie jusqu'à 2h du matin. D'ailleurs ce doit être habituel, puisqu'on vous donne le numéro de la gendarmerie au dos du code d'entrée de la barrière !!!! Donc le problème est connu !!!! ce camping ne mérite pas plus 4 étoiles, de mon point de vue.

    Zelo lep družinsku kamp, odlična lokacija in čeprav si praktično v mestu imaš občutek, da si na deželi, saj je veliko zelenja, drevja, travnatih površin in dovolj sence. Parcele za kampiranje so ločene z živo mejo. Velika soba za druženje v primeru slabega vremena z biljardom, tv in družabnimi igrami, otroška igrala, napihljiv grad, trampolin...telovadne naprave zunaj, dvojne lepo urejene sanitarije.

    Smiling, friendly welcome! Very pleasant campsite, with spacious, well-defined pitches in a wooded setting. Very well located, 2 steps from shops, thermal baths and cycle path to Chambéry (bus available). Nearby lake. Plenty of cycling and hiking opportunities in the vicinity. With the ACSI card, the price per night is really very reasonable! We 100% recommend this lovely stopover!

    Accueil souriant, au top ! Camping très agréable, avec emplacements spacieux, bien délimités dans un cadre arboré. Très bien situé, à 2 pas des commerces, des thermes et de la piste cyclable pour Chambéry (bus possible). Plan d'eau à proximité immédiate. Beaucoup de balades à faire dans les environs (vélo, randonnée). Avec la carte ACSI, le prix de la nuitée est vraiment à prix très doux ! On recommande à 100% cette belle étape !
