The park enjoys a stunning location in the Dorron valley, directly below Courchevel, and is particularly appreciated for its friendly and helpful staff. Guests praise the tranquility, the beautiful natural surroundings with forests and river, and the central position for hiking, mountain biking and access to ski areas. The chalets and tents offer privacy and comfort, with amenities like wood-burning stoves that enhance the atmosphere. Facilities such as the swimming pool, restaurant and organized activities contribute to a relaxed family holiday, though some guests note concerns about the condition of the sanitary facilities, the size of the pool and the cleanliness.

Review of the Huttopia Campground
Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience, especially considering the price of €1,600 per week.
Upon arrival, the welcome was practically nonexistent: we were simply given the number of our cabin and then left to fend for ourselves. There was no real introduction to the campground, how it operates, the facilities, or the activities offered. We weren’t introduced to the campground staff or the various service providers.
As for the activities, the program was supposed to be presented on Monday morning. In reality, the service providers were there as early as Sunday evening to present their activities, without us having been informed. This really gives the impression that we have to discover things by chance.
The campground promotes an experience close to nature, but we found that this aspect was ultimately underutilized, especially for the children. We would have appreciated more activities centered on the mountains, glaciers, water, biodiversity, environmental issues, and, more broadly, questions related to our environment and today’s society. Yet there was real potential to offer an educational and fun experience around these themes.
The condition of the area around the pool is also very disappointing, with wooden sections that clearly need maintenance and need to be cleared of certain items that give the impression of neglect. This really deserves a makeover.
As for the accommodations, we were very disappointed. The “chalet” looks more like a very low-end mobile home covered in wood than a real chalet. Furthermore, the accommodations seem to be placed very close together in order to fit as many as possible onto the property. As a result, we had a direct view into several neighboring chalets, which is a shame, because the park and its surroundings are actually very pleasant and could be showcased much better.
Finally, the staff’s lack of friendliness really stood out to us. Hardly any “hellos,” no real interaction, and not a single question about how our stay was going. Even when we checked out, there was no special attention: we were simply told to leave the keys in the cabin.
It’s truly a shame, because Huttopia projects an image of nature, simplicity, friendliness, and a chance to unwind, and we expected to experience these values firsthand on site. Unfortunately, what we felt most was a lack of hospitality, communication, maintenance, and attention to guests.
At €1,600 a week, we have every right to expect a significantly higher standard of service and a much better experience.
This stay at Huttopia will therefore have been a first… and probably a last.this is a translation, click here for the original

Great location for a campground: beautiful setting and lovely views.
The facilities are excellent. We had spot 29, close to the restrooms and the pool.
Be sure to wear flip-flops by the pool. The staff will also remind you of this upon arrival.
You can enjoy delicious pizza, and there’s great entertainment at the campground—perfect for kids.
You can also pre-order bread, which is great because that way you always have fresh bread.
The location is great. You’re just a 5-minute walk from the swimming lake. There are also countless hiking trails in the area.
You can enjoy many outdoor activities nearby, such as rafting, rock climbing, and canyoning.
Great campground! And a fantastic area.this is a translation, click here for the original
Top camping! En super gebied. -

Very nice campground, though the pool was a bit small in July given the number of guests. I would have appreciated being told on the day of my arrival that there was a freezer available in the restroom facilities; I didn’t notice it until the last day of my stay, and it would have come in handy...
There should be more trees to provide more shade. Thank youthis is a translation, click here for the original
Merci
