Guests particularly appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, who are consistently praised for their warm welcome and dedication. The location in the Ardèche and the beautiful natural surroundings with a small river and waterfall receive much praise. The animation is well-received by many families, especially for children, although some note that activities are sometimes too French-oriented or don't always take place as scheduled. The pool is popular and often praised for its heated temperature and slides, but there are also complaints about water cleanliness and lack of shade.

Canvas-sided mobile home, with a canopy that doesn’t close—the zippers are broken and need to be repaired; nearby restrooms were closed due to renovations; the morning service (bread and pastries) wasn’t ready when the place opened—supposedly at 8 a.m.—and when we came back at 9 a.m., they still weren’t ready; the pool was pretty dirty, murky water—not to mention the footbath—missing or nonexistent cutlery; good entertainment. In short, I’m sure I’m forgetting something, but it was a good stay for us since we were out all day.

We spent our little Aria’s first vacation at Ludo Camping Pausado, and now we’re big fans of the place.
    The staff is super friendly.
The campground is surrounded by nature and has a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere—perfect for a vacation with kids.
The activities designed to entertain the kids are the best.
    We highly recommend this campground!
A small suggestion: It wouldn’t hurt to assign someone to supervise the children’s safety at the pools and water slides.
Thank you, Camping Pausado, for making our daughter’s first summer vacation a wonderful memory.

A great campground with everything a family needs—we had a wonderful week, between the river, the pool, and the activities!
The staff goes out of their way to take care of guests, with a special shout-out to the maintenance worker who goes above and beyond.
However, a few finishing touches need attention, such as the disposal of green waste stored near the natural pool and the old playground equipment (the current ones are loose in places and can be dangerous)
The hot water is much too scalding and could pose a risk when first used; it would be a good idea to post a sign about this in the restrooms.
Additionally, when making a reservation, guests are asked for the children’s ages. We came with two young children in a Navajo tent and had one of the few with a patio, but it is much too small to fit a table or allow us to eat there; as a result, an adult had to eat sitting on the patio due to lack of space. this site also poses a fall hazard for children due to the poorly finished terrace and the low pebble wall a short distance away; extending it by a few dozen centimeters would significantly improve comfort (site 17)
When it rains, water from the paths drains poorly in the lower part of the campground, forcing us to cut through other campers’ sites.

These are just minor issues—we’d be happy to come back!

A really nice and clean campground
The staff is very friendly, too
The pool is clean, and the water slides are new
Three shared BBQs for the entire campground might not seem like much, but we didn’t have any problems

The campground even has two areas with direct access to the river! That’s a huge plus

We’ll be back! Thank you 😊

Merci 😊
